Job Description A major Bank Holding Company is looking for a Tibco Developer who is a strong Tibco Engineer (RV and EMS). The Candidate should also have a good background in MQ. The role will be a 50/50 split between pure engineering and Support responsibilities. Any familiarity with C++/Java is a plus but not required.
Skills Required Primary technologies that need to be understood and supported include the following:
Communication Middleware technology – Solace Systems – WebSphere MQ – TIBCO RV – TIBCO EMS – 29West – Secondary Technologies – Databases (Oracle, MSSQL) – Networks – Unix / Linux – Complex Event Processing – Integration Middleware – Programming Skills – 50% Engineering and 50% RTB Support (approximately)
Flexible – willing to provide coverage during weekends and or early/late shifts
Knowledge of Database technology is important and also the ability to assist with hardware, server upgrades and DC patching issues is important
Knowledge of DR procedures is also critical
Person Requirements and Basic Qualifications:
Degree Educated with a Computer Science Background
2+ years experience – Cross platform skills and some development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent customer focus and client facing skills
Skills and knowledge with the specific technology set ( described above )
Proven ability to interface with the development community
Good technical understanding of distributed heterogeneous systems technology.
Salary Range This is a temporary assignment which will pay up to $750 daily Corp to Corp and less for W-2.
