JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
-       10+ years overall IT experience with Microsoft technologies, 3+ years experience in a similar role using MS. NET
-       Proven experience estimating, planning, designing, and implementing n-tier software architectures and solutions.
-       Sound IT experience in some combination of application architectures, software development and infrastructure, systems integration, package implementation, and interaction design.
-       Solid knowledge of Industry Standards, Frameworks, and Design Patterns.
-       Experience with interaction design, web technologies, and web service solutions.
-       Extensive background in .Net framework with an emphasis on versions 2.0 to 4.0.
-       Solid experience in relational database design and modeling and SQL/DML.
-       Experience with the full SDLC lifecycle.
 
-       Help in defining, maintaining, and enhancing the base Application Architecture that will be used on all applications.
-       Provide guidance in best practice and tool use in the design and build of technical frameworks and the applications built on them.

Our client in Raritan, NJ is seeking a Project Manager for an 11.5 month contract beginning immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead top investigations of the most important, cross-functional problems in ITIL v3 framework environment

- Analyze individual events, incidents, and problems to find common underlying roots cause(s) and solutions for top investigations.

- Provide regular status communications to I/T leadership.

- Responsible for assembling project/technical teams, identifying appropriate resources needed, develop and execute detailed action plans, and assign individual responsibilities.

- Coordinate across various functional Information Management areas to provide solutions and resolve issues for managed problems.

- Manage and maintain meeting schedules, meeting minutes and action item lists.

- Ensure resolution to action items

- Maintain the problem information in a Service Management repository

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2+ years experience in managing and performing Technical Support Services contracts or tasks.

2. 3 years of Problem Management Experience preferred

3. Thorough understanding of general Infrastructure technologies (Oracle, Cisco, NT, HP-Unix, SAN, WAN, eCommerce)

4. BS/BA in Business Administration; a technical degree; or related field.

5. Experience in e-Business and infrastructure projects of a complex nature a plus.

6. ITIL certification is a plus.

7. Certified in one of the Infrastructure technical disciplines is preferred

8. Experience in ITILv3 Problem Mgmt is preferred

Description
This contracted Global Project Manager role will be responsible for leading the deployment of the electronic workflow management and digital asset management system (COCOON) all Global Business Units. This system is leveraged by the creative design, packaging engineering, and design project management teams as part of the Global Strategic Design Office (GSDO). The Global PM will need to proactively work with the appropriate vendors, deployment IT Leads in each of the regions, and with the J&J technical organizations to ensure that objectives are met, on-time, on-budget and on-quality, per SDLC 3.0 guidelines. Regular communication and status meetings with all levels of the organization will be necessary.

The role requires knowledge of the Design Lifecycle Management functions, with clear understanding of inputs and outputs to other functional areas (i.e. R&D, QA, Supply Chain, and Sourcing). The PM will need to understand the Consumer Package Goods industry landscape and requirements to be able to provide subject matter and change management expertise working directly with business partners, vendors, and other J&J technical organizations. The GBUs supported include Consumer Healthcare, OTC, Beauty, and Baby. Each GBU is responsible worldwide for one or more global franchises (e.g. Sanpro, Reach, oral care, wound care, smoking cessation). Brands include: Tylenol, Listerine, Imodium, Purell, Sudafed, Bengay, Clean & Clear, Johnson's Baby, Band-Aid, Neutrogena, etc.

Qualifications
Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Candidates who possess an advanced degree are preferred. This position will require a minimum of 7 years experience with project management of software validation in GxP regulated environments. Experience implementing Global process/systems is required, minimally across two global regions (NA, EMEA, ASPAC, LATAM). Candidates are required to possess a demonstrated working knowledge of core application development principles and methodologies. This role requires tailoring communication to all levels of the organization.

Candidates who possess hands-on experience supporting design/packaging engineering/project management groups are preferred. A working knowledge of the FDA and its processes are preferred. Candidates with a demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage work in accordance with full system lifecycle (SDLC 3.0) from concept to production deployment are preferred. Experience with Business Process Modeling, and with leading substantial change management resulting from process and system changes is preferred This position will be based in Skillman, NJ, but may require working in New York City for the Neutrogena Cosmetics portion of the project.

One of COMSYS's top clients is seeking a Project Manager for a consulting assigment in Livingston, New Jersey.

This is a technical infrastructure project managment position in a data center in Livingston, NJ. The PM role will be working on mostly global Exchange 2007 infrastructure projects that run on Intel, Windows 2003 SP3. All projects are managed in Livingston (no travel anticipated) with remote technical staff that are global in various regions ( APAC SEA, EMEA, US, LAC). Good communication skills (verbal and in written) is needed.

Responsible for coordinating, defining, staffing, and managing one or multiple projects. The Project Manager works across the business, IS management, Quality Assurance and Testing, Systems Analyst, Software Development, and Technical Writing teams to ensure the delivery of a high quality software application.
