We are looking for true Business Analysts who have facilitated the gathering of detailed business requirements and authored such documents within the Healthcare industry.

Must be able to interact with all levels of management within the business and be familiar with the terminology
Must work independently and display proper sense of urgency

Six Sigma training is a plus, including root cause analysis
Creation of process flows, coordination of User Acceptance Testing and transition of project work to the business
ClaimsXten experience is a plus
Exposure to medical policies, reimbursement policies, procedure codes, diagnosis codes, fee schedules, claims processing is a plus

Job Description:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs . Documents algorithms, identifies logical system architecture, specifies system interfaces, documents operational requirements, develops test plans . Oversees acceptance testing, develops user guides, provides user training, and supports the user in development of work processes. Works under the direction of a team leader or project manager. Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in gathering and analyzing user requirements, and the development of functional and operational improvements to business applications

Develop, Update and Maintain traceability procedures for managing scope change (Manual/Tool) on a scheduled basis
Resolve requirements conflicts with various stakeholders within project team and also with the customer groups
Actively participate in meetings with Technical Marketing team, Product team to clarify the Feature Requirements
Identify jointly with the stake holders the key acceptance criteria
Track cost and effort on a timely manner
Proactively anticipate, identify and mitigate schedule/cost overruns through monitoring of health parameters
Ensures that all work undertaken by the team are planned and approved within the project plan and raise CR's for activities that have an impact on cost/schedule/quality
Oversee and actively develop the Project Plan encompassing requirements, risk, time, and cost and share the base lined version with the stake holders
Monitor & update project plan on a timely manner
Identify the information needs of key stakeholders and define a communication plan that is shared with the customer

· Identify jointly with the stake holders the metrics to be tracked, periodicity of tracking and secure a sign-off
Define the processes towards the capture, collation & presenting of data for the status reports
Identify, Share, Highlight and Escalate the risks captured in the Status reports shared on a periodic basis
Ensure that the Risk Log is a live document that captures current and future risks
Understand the elements of Estimation ( Assumptions, timelines, availability of resources, skill levels agreed upon etc ). This understanding is required to identify a trigger for a change
