Sixty to eighty percent of people get their job via networking. Yet, sor some, networking is very challenging. Other do it somewhat reluctantly and not very effectively. This presentation will help the audience improve on their networking skills.

Do you know what conditions you should create that lend themselves to bonding and sharing?

The end game is to get referrals. We will share a simple script which you can start using immediately. You will learn five easy steps to follow in order to get high-level contacts. By understnding the divergent vantage points of the candidate vis-à-vis the hiring manager, you can better prepare for this demanding interaction called "the interview".

SPEAKER

ALEX FREUND: Alex Freund had a long career working for major Fortune 500 companies in the capacity of Corporate Director. Initially, after graduating from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration he worked in hotels and hospitals. From there he moved on managing the complex challenges of feeding thousands of employees in many locations throughout the country. Alex has managed some 35 different departments also known as Facilities Administration or Support Services.

Alex has extensive experience with interviewing people. He has also practical training in career coaching. Consequently, he formed LandingExpert – Career Coaching services. He is prominent in a number of networking groups and has helped many job seekers with their career searches, providing them with tools, information, marketing material, and one-on-one preparation for the interview.

Alex lived in three continents and speaks five languages. Currently he lives in the Princeton NJ area with his wife and has two grown up children.

Global Financial Firm located in New York, NY has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Liquidity Risk Reporting Consultant.



The position will work with members of Treasury, Risk Management, and Finance to establish reporting requirements and develop the tools, analysis and reporting necessary to proactively identify and manage risk with respect to portfolios and products, and continuously update the reporting process to reflect the current business structure.



The candidate will work with the individual Treasurers and Risk Managers to review current and forecasted business and market assumptions and model these assumptions in order to assist in the development of Liquidity and Funding Plans.



Management and Regulatory Reporting will form an important component of the position. In addition to the daily liquidity reporting requirements the individual will be responsible for contributions to the Treasury Risk Management Weekly Economic Review, Monthly Cash Capital Calculations, U.S. and legal entity ALCO Meeting Packages, and other reporting requests.



The individual will also work with members of the various disciplines to identify ways to streamline and automate process flows in order to create more accurate and timely results, as well as improving efficiency.



BS/BA degree required. Background in Finance or Accounting required.

Must possess strong knowledge of balance sheet composition

Must possess knowledge of system workflows, front-end and management reporting application systems, and knowledge in the utilization of database technology.

Ability to identify issues, design a plan of action and execute projects to meet stated objectives

Treasury experience including liquidity management is a plus

Candidate must be a detail oriented creative thinker with strong analytical, problem solving and written communication skills. Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills

· Execute the project as per PMO standards and best practices.



Job Experience/Skills and Competencies/Knowledge:

· Minimum 3-4 years project coordinator experience working in .COM preferred.

· Experience with content management tools, and video content management is a plus.

· Strong Leadership, Organization and planning skills

· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external (vendor) groups in a clear, focused and concise manner

· Ability to communicate across all levels of organization.

· Proficient use of MS Project, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other project management tools required.

· Fluent in German, French or Italian a plus.
