Job Description A major Bank Holding Company located in New York City is looking for a High Frequency Connectivity Developer.
Main Duties
Work closely with the QPB business to gather requirements, design and implement new functionality and features as Requested by clients of the system.
Contribute in optimizing the performance, capacity, monitoring and maintenance model of the current platform.
Participate in the ongoing innovation and design of the next generation platform.
Collaborate with teams in Europe and Asia to maintain a global offering consistent with regional business requirements And standards.
Work closely with other Connectivity teams to promote common design and implementation practices and reuse of Technology.
Skills Required 5+ years of professional Core Java development experience. C++ candidates with some Java experience also considered.
Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in with high-frequency, low latency systems required.
Knowledge of messaging and middleware frameworks a big plus.
Professional experience working on a Unix/Linux.
Experience with Perl C, perl and embedded programming a good plus.
Salary Range This is a full time assignment for an Assistant Vice President and the starting salary is based on experience.
