experience, enjoy planning, promoting, and facilitating events. This is a
PT, commission-only position. *MORE HOLIDAY NETWORKING TIPS*
The holiday season is here, so keep in mind these networking tips and make
the MOST of your holidays!

1) *Schedule meetings/interviews*. Clients are on vacation, so companies &
recruiters have plenty of time to learn about your firm's products/services
or your skills. Send a hand-written note afterwards!

2) *Ask about budgets*. Companies may be able to authorize
projects/services or hire new employees using 2011 allotted funds (use it
or lose it). Or they may earmark you for 20 12's budget.

3)*Attend holiday parties*. Holiday parties can be found most days in
December in many restaurants, bars, hotels, and meeting spaces. Research
your professional associations, alumni associations, chambers of commerce,
networking or ganizations, etc. and plan to attend.
4)*Sent New Year's cards*. Send New Year's cards during the first week of
January so your card is SEEN, rather than strung on a line.
5) *Be happy*! People gravitate towards happy people--and you want people
to gravitate towards you this holiday season. Have fun networking and make
networking fun!
