THE COMPANY OVERVIEW

Company History
NFI was founded in 1932 when a member of the Brown family had a vision to establish a regional business for transporting goods. Initially known as National Hauling, the company began with a single dump truck. Since that time, the company has not only grown and changed with the trucking industry, but has expanded into a full service third party logistics firm providing a broad range of services for the entire supply chain spectrum. Today, almost eighty years later, NFI is still privately owned by the Brown family and has established itself as one of the largest logistics companies in North America.

In addition to completing nine acquisitions in ten years, NFI has continued to create new divisions to meet the evolving needs of its customers. Under its corporate brand, the Company currently encompasses eleven divisions; employs 5600 people; owns and manages over 18 million square feet of warehouse space; with fleets of nearly 2000 tractors and more than 7200 trailers. In 2010, annual revenue grew to over $900 million, three times where it was just nine years ago. Access the Company's website at www.nfiindustries.com.
