SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT
>
>Carleon Capital Partners LLC is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to manage all operational and financial aspects of its flagship endowment style fund. The Senior Fund Accountant will work closely with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer to build out the infrastructure in support of the funds.
>
>RESPONSIBILITIES
>•Oversee a third party administrator and review monthly NAV calculations, investor allocations and investor statements
>•Responsible for calculating and reporting fund level performance to the firm and external investors; including time weighted returns and IRR
>•Responsible for maintaining a proprietary data warehouse; including reconciling fund and investor data from the administrator into the data
>warehouse and liaising with technology consultants of the data
warehouse
>•Review quarterly and annual financial statements prepared by the administrator
>•Liaise with the fund administrator and external accountants to prepare fund tax returns and K-1s
>•Coordinate year end audits
>•Review daily work of the fund administrator team
>•Calculate all fund expenses, maintain accruals and perform a monthly budget/liquidity analysis
>•Responsible for cash management including monitoring of daily cash balance, liquidity needs, and processing capital calls and distributions
>•Assist with portfolio valuation and reconciliation of market values to underlying managers and third parties
>•Review and complete subscription/redemption documents for underlying fund investments
>•Assist with the overall infrastructure development of the fund, including compliance, marketing, investor relations, technology (web site, data
>warehouse, web portal) and portfolio
analytics
>
>REQUIREMENTS
>•CPA preferred
>•A bachelor's degree and approximately 2-3 years of related work experience
>•Prior hedge fund, private equity and/or mutual fund experience, including performance calculations
>•Interest in technology and database warehouses
>•A capacity to perform autonomously
>•A highly motivated self starter with a "can do" attitude and the ability to multitask
>•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) and an ability to learn new systems and software quickly
