JOB DESCRIPTION
Corporate Controller
The Corporate Controller will manage the financial reporting activities of this company to assist management in making educated economic decisions about the Company's future to provide accurate information for internal and outside users of the Company's financial statements.

Essential Job Functions:
• Responsible for AP/AR, treasury, general accounting, inventory, credit and collections.
• Oversee the activities of the Company's Accounting Department to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal monthly financial statements, forecasts and annual budget.
• In-charge of payroll processing, including payroll disbursement, tax reporting and compliance.
• Oversee tax compliance and the completion of all corporation income tax returns, sales and use tax filings, state and local license filings, and Federal census reports and filings.
• Arrange and coordinate the annual review of the Company's financial statements.
• Establish and maintain systems and controls, which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value.
• Must understand and be current with US GAAP
• Maintain relationships with bankers, accounting firm, lawyers and insurance agents.
• Maintain company benefit packages.
• Hands-on management of all accounting department job functions.

Accountabilities:
• This position reports directly to Company President.
• Dissemination of financial accounting data must be accurate, timely, and provide value-added component for all users as an end result.
• Maintain reasonable audit fees by use of client prepared work papers and efficient exchange of data for year-end reports.
• All requests for information or projects from management should be met with a "can do" and "will do" response.
• All spending activities should be scrutinized for potential cost savings and activities analyzed for ways to reduce costs through streamlined process, reduction, overlapping or unnecessary tasks within the context of the Company's philosophy of customer service.

Education/Experience/Personal Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA and / or MBA a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience in all aspects of accounting is required.
• Proven supervisory skills required.
• Proficient knowledge of Excel, problem solving and analytical skills required.

Description:

• The Programmer and Systems Analyst, HRIS will analyze, design, develop, test, document, implement, and support automation solutions for routine to moderately complex projects.
• The incumbent will assist in the design, development, and implementation of new database and software applications and maintain existing database and software applications in order to meet the business needs of Human Resources.
• This position will have a direct affect on the availability, functionality and reliability of the systems. EOE M/F/D/V
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement complex new database and software applications and maintain existing database and software applications.
• Perform routine to complex analysis and design for various business applications.
• Act as a liaison with business areas to diagnosis problems with existing programs or initiate designs of new applications independently, conferring with user groups to define business needs and potential solutions based on information technology.
• Contribute to customer acceptance by soliciting their involvement on design, functionality, and testing.
• Contribute to data models, functional flow diagrams, and other documentation as required by departmental standards and methodology.
• Code and test computer programs.
• Research and recommend available computer programs to address requirements and maintain existing software.
• Build and support new development and production database environments as required.
• Assist with the administration of all versions and instances of ADP Enterprise and associated Oracle tables.
• Communicate with developers and provide solutions where necessary to ensure proper database performance.
• Perform periodic database upgrades and install service patches as required.
• Assist in establishing proper database security.
• Develop and unit test software for interfaces, conversions, and custom reports.
• Assist integration between multiple HR systems with end to end global focus.
• Assist integration between multiple T&A systems with end to end global focus.
• Provide design and direction to adaptations to screens, panels, and tables.
• Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business Computing, or equivalent knowledge is required.
• 3-8 years of experience in ADP HRIS System, PeopleSoft HRIS System, or a related system is required,
• A minimum of 2 years of ERP system implementation experience in HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Programmer/Analyst is preferred.
• Technical experience in Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Attendance is preferred.
• Functional knowledge of HR, Benefits, and/or Payroll is essential.
• Programming Languages: SQL, SQR, ASP, .NET, HTML, Visual Basic, FoxPro are necessary.
• The following software tools are vital: SQL Navigator, ReportSmith, OrgPlus
• Must have a working Knowledge of the following: ADP Enterprise v4 or 5, Pay@Workds, PCPW , Ceridian, SAP Payroll, Kronos Workforce, Enterprise ETime, ETime 1000, EZLabor, MitrIFinch , iEmployee, SAT CATs, SAP IDOCS and integration with ADP Connection and Integration Agent, SAP EPIP files and configuration of SAP payroll, benefits, PA/OM and CATs.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills are key.
• Good oral and written communication skills are vital.
• Must possess organization and planning skills for handling multiple projects.
• Strong inter-personal skills are essential.
• Demonstrated technical documentation skills are necessary.
• Must be versed in client-server and browser based technology.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekends is necessary.
