I wanted to check in with you regarding Marketing Manager position I am working on.  The opportunity is a Fulltime/Permanent position with a major company in  Bridgewater NJ.  They are seeking a Marketing Manager.

Work Location: - Bridgewater NJ
Description:
The Marketing Manager (MM), Printing and Scanning Solutions, reports to the Director of Marketing, Solutions and Vertical Markets. From an understanding of various commercial and vertical markets and analysis of the same, the MM, Printing and Scanning Solutions is responsible for playing a major role in the development and deployment of commercial product solutions. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting in the development of key support programs (i.e. TCO, MPS) that are required to support Brother's various commercial solution offerings. Another major responsibility is assisting with the development and on-going management of third-party solution relationships that can involve hardware, software and/or services.
 
The Marketing Manager will also be accountable for:
Production Solution Strategy Development – From an on-going, comprehensive market examination, propose various product solutions that will result in increased commercial field sales opportunities. Develop and present a business case justification that will detail use cases, business and marketing requirements. Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses. This effort will involve working with product development and BIL in bringing various Brother Solutions to market.
Solutions Support Program Development – At times, in order to support various product solutions, this position will assist with the development, implementation and management of complementary support programs. Examples include Total Cost Ownership (TCO), Managed Print Services (MPS) and Document Management programs. This effort will involve the proper planning and deployment of program, financial and field resources and will require working with cross functional groups including BIL, agencies, Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Service.
Third-Party Solutions Relationship Management – This requires assisting with the identification and development  of product solution opportunities that involve enhancing Brother product offerings with hardware, software and/or service offerings from various third-party companies. This involves thorough due diligence of prospective partners that includes such activities as managing required contractual obligations, overseeing proper beta testing, and daily vendor management.
Field Support – Serve as primary product solutions support to the Brother sales force (particularly the field vertical market sales specialists) and channel partners that includes training and support activities throughout the year. This involves developing and delivering presentations to be used for Spring Training, FAQs, webinars, special requests, and account visits as required. Support all special field sales and channel requests as needed. This also includes various trade show support activities and attendance.
Collateral Development – Be a key daily contact in the development of required product solution sales tools and collateral (both traditional and digital). Makes sure that all deadlines are met and project is kept within budget.
Strategic Analysis and Reporting – Provide periodic management reports including monthly key activity, point of view, budgetary, forecasting and numerical analysis reporting. Ensure all are accurately produced on a timely basis.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
Position requires 5 to 7 years of a successful track record in a hi-technology, office product solutions marketing role or equivalent experience. Must have 2 to 3 years of marketing or sales experience in the Healthcare, Education and Government markets.
Strong working knowledge of office printing and scanning technologies, that also includes networking knowledge.
The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The candidate should have professional and effective customer interaction skills. Must be able to create and deliver customer presentations in an effective manner as well as be comfortable speaking to different audiences including end users, sales, channel, etc.
Must be proficient in using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Must be proficient performing qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Two to three years previous basic experience in forecasting and fiscally responsible budgeting. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
Should be a proactive, organized, self-starter, fast learner, able to work independently, possess strong follow-through abilities, a team player who works effectively with many cross-functional constituencies, willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done and work extended business hours. Additionally, the candidate should be poised and be able to train others on our product solution initiatives. Must be able to travel on short notice both domestically and globally.
 
HIGHLY DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA
Experience in Adobe Acrobat and SAP
2 to 3 years exposure to marketing communications (advertising, PR, digital programs), channel programming and product development functions.
EDUCATION:
BA or BS degree – technical degree preferred with marketing exposure or appropriate Business area related discipline or equivalent experience
