Our client is seeking an Internet Application Developer who will create and
maintain web-based applications for internal and external company web sites.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

. Planning, writing, and maintaining web based applications.
Application development will include all phases from planning and design,
writing code and business rules to documentation and end user education.

. Troubleshooting and fixing problems that arise in existing systems.

. Give support to the Help Desk and users in the field when applicable.

. Increase and maintain technical knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

. BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of
experience in a web development environment required.

. Ability to code in the following languages is required; VB.Net,
ASP.Net, HTML, Javascript and SQL.

. Experience in a Microsoft development environment strongly
preferred.

. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint a plus.

Project Manager Job Requirements
• Focus on ensuring flawless execution of project deliverables by utilizing standard methodologies and capabilities
• Lead project review sessions with project managers and the planning office providing project status, identifying issues and recommending solutions
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills along with the ability to effectively communicate to internal and external executives, sponsors and stakeholders
• Manage the project delivery performance against established metrics
• Accountable for ensuring that the program follows the established PM processes and procedures

Skill Set & Qualifications

Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) next meeting is tonight Tuesday Jan
8.

NFP is where people meet to expand their network connections, as well as
learn the tools needed to advance their careers. Business professionals from
all industries and career levels are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
Our philosophy is to build reciprocal relationships where business
professionals can exchange ideas, job leads, and build networking skills.
We usually have a guest speaker discuss a topic of interest for business
professionals.

Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month
from 5:30 - 8 pm. This month we will be ending at 7:15. Attendance to NFP is
free.
Networking from 5:30-6pm with a speaker presentation at 6pm. This meeting
will conclude at 7:15pm.

Location: The Knights of Columbus building in Newtown CT, located at 46
Church Hill Road; behind Saint Rose church to the far left.
Please go in the entrance for Saint Rose church and drive in back of the
church to the far left.
The building has 3 garage doors on the first floor with the meeting room
upstairs.
The entrance is the door on the left front of the building.

Speaker: Mary Ann Gontin

Topic: "How to Demonstrate Being a Creative Problem Solver (in an
interview)"

Companies today value and seek out creative problem solvers. People who are
successful at landing and keeping jobs are able to demonstrate that they
have and can be proactive in solving workplace problems.

In this presentation, Mary Ann will provide insight and suggestions on how
to identify ways we have all been creative and proactive in our jobs as well
as how to convey that in an interview.

Mary Ann Gontin is Managing Partner of OI Partners- Cunis & Gontin, Inc. in
Connecticut. Her firm has been providing human resource consulting services
since 1974.

Mary Ann has become recognized by clients for her ability to identify
organizational and individual performance issues and propose creative and
