Position Global Project Manager Enabling Functions
Location North Central NJ
Compensation to $120 + bonus
Role Purpose:
•Responsible for the management of projects for Finance, Human Resources, Legal and Communications.
Major Accountabilities:
• Develops work statements and participates in scope/priority definitions as well as the creation of budgets and schedules for large complex programs.
• Performs project tracking duties and supports planning and coordination of project activities across functions and with suppliers.
• Follows established standards and procedures to conduct project management activities.
• Oversees and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, line management and from the associated IT Department/s (e.g. SETA, Group ERP, HR shared services, etc).
• Resolves routine problems and concerns regarding project deliverables.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
• Measures the output, performance, added value in relation to plan and expectations.
• Manages expectations of Stakeholders.
Requirements
Education and Experience
• Solid educational background (MBA, University/Masters degree in Finance, Engineering , Project Management, Information Technology Business Administration)
• Proven abilities and experience with stakeholder management
• 5+ years performing as a PM with SAP deployment experience in a multi-national pharmaceutical, consumer goods or related process industry company
• Good understanding and knowledge for finance and human resource processes and operations.
• Knows where priorities are in the daily dynamics.
• Does not avoid problems.
• Motivates, inspires and steers.
• Strong creative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills to manage programs and develop new business
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and presentation skills for interacting with project managers and Steering Committee members
• Strong human relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward employees
• Strong communication skills
• Personal computer and business solutions software skills
• Project Management Certification is a plus
• Strong customer focus and result orientation
• International, multi-cultural exposure
• Fluent in English; additional European language desired
