Duties:
There is a GPO remediation Project at Sanofi. After many years of a number
of various GPO's being integrated in the environment, we are looking at
decreased performance on the client workstation during boot up impacting
user experience. This resource would be used to remediate the GPO's that
are integrated in AD and work with multiple representatives in various
locations (business units or regions) to see if most of these GPO's are
still required and needed for business purposes. This individual would be
responsible for removal of these GPO's that are no longer required. Also a
main responsibility would be to create a change mangement process as well
as tracking process for GPO administration.
Skills:
Looking for a hands-on technical engineer with a background in Windows
Server and Client technologies, with a focus on Active Directory
Architecture and Group Policy Administration. The individual will be
responsible for reviewing and documenting the current GPO architecture, and
developing a recommendation for GPO architecture moving forward. The
recommendation will include:
Deficiencies associated with the current GPO architecture
'Globalization' of GPO structure and administration
Implementation Strategy
Reporting and auditing strategy
Change Management Process
Education:
Associates degree or 10+ years experience in IT
