Responsibilities:

* Develop applications for full product line (fasteners, tool and systems)
* Identify, evaluate and develop value-added solutions with engineering support

Required Qualifications:

* BS mechanical engineering, or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years experience in application development for electro-mechanical products and installation tooling
* Experience with automation a real plus
* Experience in ERP software (JDE) & CRM software (SFDC) for tracking
* Knowledge of metal working, plastics & machining processes
* Good communications, presentation, and organizational skills
* Computer savvy

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Affinion Group is seeking an experienced results-oriented Retail Executive/Sales Leader who will be an integral member of our Retail Solutions team.

Sales Strategies:

· Lead Retail Solutions sales strategy & implementation
· Identify new partnership opportunities for Affinion Group
· Network into prospective partner companies to uncover sales opportunity

Execution:

· Work with selected brokers and other intermediaries to broaden our sales reach
· Propose to prospects the best-fit Affinion Group solutions and right deal structure for each opportunity
· Negotiate deals, obtain internal deal sign-off, and work with legal team to create contracts
· Win the business and transition relationship post-sale to relationship management team
· Maintain open flow of communication on prospective partner deals across internal departments,
such as client management, product, partner marketing, and operations.

Business Development:

· Develop new business models relevant to the retail vertical and multi-channel distribution strategies for Affinion solutions
· Develop business/ROI analysis to communicate our value to prospective partner

REQUIREMENTS PREFFERED:

§ Comprehensive knowledge of selling into traditional Retail industry.
§ Ideal candidate will have sold complex services into Retail operations.
§ A successful track record of successfully growing a business, setting targets and achieving them.
§ Ability to articulate vision and operationalize it.
§ Bachelor's degree preferred, MBA a plus.
