Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP)next meeting is Tuesday, July 9.

NFP is where people meet to expand their network connections, as well as
learn the tools needed to advance their careers. Business professionals from
all industries and career levels are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
Our philosophy is to build reciprocal relationships where business
professionals can exchange ideas, job leads, and build networking skills.
We usually have a guest speaker discuss a topic of interest for business
professionals.

Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month
from 5:30 - 8 pm. Attendance to NFP is free.
Networking from 5:30-6:00pm with a speaker presentation from 6:00pm to 7:30.
Networking until 8 pm.
Location: The Knights of Columbus building in Newtown CT, located at 46
Church Hill Road; behind Saint Rose church to the far left.
Please go in the entrance for Saint Rose church and drive in back of the
church to the far left.
The building has 3 garage doors on the first floor with the meeting room
upstairs.
The entrance is the door on the left front of the building.

As a key member of the Center of Excellence, the Business Process Consultant drives continuous process improvement throughout the enterprise.  Leads cross-functional teams and works with key stakeholders to evaluate and streamline key back-office operations and business processes.

Principal Accountabilities:

 Manage Business Process projects associated with process improvement activities key focus will be on improving processes impacting Provider Data Management and back office operations.
 Lead transaction based project teams to successful project completion and realization of the targeted benefits. 
 Build and develop improved operations, processes and procedures to support company growth
. Assess processes to determine how to reduce rework, improve quality, improve efficiency, and improve our ability to meet customer requirements.

 Train, coach and mentor future Process leaders and other improvement personnel in Business Process Improvement methodology.
 Help develop and foster a culture of Process Thinking throughout the organization.

 Regular interface with Senior-level executives.

Position Qualifications/Requirements:

 Experience:
 A minimum of five years experience as a Process Consultant using  Lean, Six Sigma, and/or process improvement methodologies.
 A minimum of five years health plan payer experience, preferably within Operations
Licenses, Registrations or Certifications

 Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
or
 Process Master or Re-Engineering Master Certification from Hammer & Co. This position performs a number of basic clerical tasks in addition to assisting with Sr. Consultants with conducting internal HR/EEO investigations.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Assists Sr. Consultants with witness interviews (preparing, conducting, and/or note taking). Occasionally, will conduct basic investigations on his/her own.
Assists with special projects as needed (coordination of training schedule; ordering of training materials, creating Powerpoint presentations, etc.)

Knowledge/Skills, Education/Experience:
(Minimum requirements to perform the role at a satisfactory level)

Must have a basic understanding of the concepts, principles, and methods of Human Resources.

? Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
? 1 - 3 years in Human Resources/Employee Relations field or SHRM/equivalent certification preferred
? Basic knowledge of local, State and Federal employment law. This includes but is not limited to Title VII, ADA, FML and ADEA.
