Job Details:
Position : J2EE/Spring Programmer
Location: Bergen County, NJ (metro NY area)
Duration: Contract to hire
Must be a green card holder or USC
F2F required
Essential Responsibilities:
•Provide programming and support throughout eCommercere-platforming project and ultimately assume the role of lead eCommerceprogrammer with full accountability for continuing platform development and legacy systems infrastructure integration.
•Program and provide continuous feedback to IS and eCommerceteams on the programming progress and performance as it relates to managed servers, security and storage infrastructure.
•Interact with applications staff – internal, external and freelance –to ensure programming support and integration of new platform with existing programming environments.
•Maintain wiki-style documentation throughout all programming phases to foster usability within a diverse programmer/user community
•Excellent team player and problem solver with a high level of self-motivation and initiatives
Requirements:
•Bachelor Degree in Programming or equivalent certifications
•3-5 years Java programming experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment
•Experience with eCommerceaccellerators, Java, Spring framework and RAD (rapid applications development)
•Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and exercise good judgment in frequency and nature of communications
•Ability to multitask and attention to detail a must
•Familiar with build automation (Ant) and Web Services (REST)
•Experience with offshore development resources helpful.
