The Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing of Infrastructure/Application migrations within large Data Center Consolidation/Migration initiative

The ideal candidate would have 7+ years of experience in leading projects of Data Center/Infrastructure Migrations/Consolidations in a Project Manager role.

Required Skills

·         7+ years experience in Information Technology as a project manager with emphasis on data center consolidations and Migrations in a large enterprise environment
·         Familiarity with various underlying technologies like Windows ,Unix , LAN, WAN, Storage ,Firewall, DMZ ,Windows and network and systems management tools.
·         Strong Data center background managing projects related to data center facility and infrastructure components.
·         Strong experience with normal Project Management tasks
·         Firewall/DMZ migration experience a strong plus
·         Data Center Operations background a plus
·         ITIL/ITSM Background a plus
·         Ability to shuffle and multitask between different projects of infrastructure migrations
Outstanding analytical and observation skills
Ability to keep up with latest developments in the field and upgrade IT infrastructure
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Outstanding planning and organization ability
Good time management sense
Outstanding troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Outstanding management and leadership qualities
·         Software Development or System integration backgrounds a Plus.
·         Microsoft office Suite (Power Point , Project , Excel ,Word , Visio)

People/Relationship Management
Identify the people requirements needed to meet established goals for the Project
Identify the Stakeholder and manage their requirements for the Project
Provide coaching and mentoring to Project team as needed
Manage relationships with customer
Build strong relationships between geographic teams within IT and between IT and related business teams
Maintain professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.

·         BS/MS Degree
·         PMP Certification
·         Windows/Storage or Network certifications
