ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Executive Team!  We're looking for a Senior Vice President of Operations to drive our business to the next level and support our mission of delivering the highest quality component products and engineered solutions on time and to customer specifications.
We're looking for a strong "hands on" leader that will be responsible for providing the vision and direction/management of the Manufacturing Operations group which includes, but is not limited to the departments of Custom and Standard Manufacturing, Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Safety.  This leader will drive world class performance of the Operations group that aligns with the needs of our customers and shareholders.  The leader will also plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the Operations utilizing fiscal planning tools and forecasts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
·         B.S. in Engineering or Business discipline, preferably with MBA.
·         A minimum of seven (7) years as a Vice President, Senior Vice President, or Director of Operations in a manufacturing company, with the responsibilities of manufacturing, purchasing, inventory control, production control, and engineering, as well as shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
·         A minimum annual production value of sales of $30 million with a minimum of 150 direct labor employees.
·         Demonstrated track record in leading technical employees, building high-performance manufacturing organizations and delivering high quality products on time and on budget.
·         Experience in developing and sustaining products in compliance with ISO standards.
·         Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills – principles and people.
·         Experience in working in a nonunion and union environment.
·         Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth.

·         Participative management type – advocates team concept and a sense of urgency.
·         Well-developed interpersonal skills.  Ability to get along with diverse personalities. Tactful, mature, and respectful.

·         Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
·         Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.
