Job Description:

The candidate must have a strong J2EE foundation with portal development
experience. The candidate must have 4+ years using web portal products
or related tools, and experience in a large
enterprise environment using different computing platforms with proven
experience in systems/component analysis, design, development,
implementation, and maintenance on various environments, including
multi-tier applications. Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and
communication (oral and written) skills are required for interaction
with all levels of management.

The following are the qualifying requirements for this position:
. Experience in all phases of the java application delivery process,
from inception through development, QA, and post-release support.
. Responsible to produce quality and high-performance applications
. Experience developing B2B websites, Ecommerce applications and
portals using industry web technologies within a multi-tier architecture
. Strong foundation in Software Engineering, Operating Systems,
Databases, Networking, and Web protocols
. Solid knowledge of JSP/Servlets/J2EE stack, XSL, JavaScript, XML,
CSS, XHTML, Javascript, Flash and JSF/Struts
. Expert in browser idiosyncrasies (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera)
across platforms
. Solid understanding of J2EE containers, application servers,
session management, optimizing web performance including caching and
compression, load balancing and failover situations.
. Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills through cooperative
approaches
. Ability to innovate, prioritize, multi-task, and work under
pressure to deliver projects on-time
. Ability to handle complex projects, customer expectations, and
rapidly evolving user requirements
. Process-oriented thinking with aptitude for analyzing potential
issues and implementing solutions
. Strong working experience with Agile methodology, Scrum techniques
and Test Driven Development
. Strong working experience with Web 2.0 technologies like Lucene,
RSS, Dojo, FreeMarker, JSON and JQuery
. Solid experience with web design principles, OO/MVC/JEE design
patterns and performance tuning high-traffic web
. Solid knowledge of key portal and repository standards (JSR-168,
JSR-286, JSR-170, WSRP and etc) and platforms (Websphere, Liferay and etc.)
