Description:

Project Management
. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate
effectively identifying and highlighting changes in scope, challenges, and
risks.
. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
. Reviews plan, estimates, and schedules of deliverables prepared by team,
before passing to business stakeholders.
. Effectively applies and enforces set standards and best practices.
. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
. Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Project Accounting and Financial Management
. Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.

. Follows up with vendors and business partners, when necessary, regarding
invoices and requested proposals.
. Identifies and suggests cost effective solutions and approaches as they
relate to a specific project and business need.

Communication
. Facilitates meetings effectively by creating and following a specific

I am currently looking for a Project Manager for a healthcare/insurance
client of mine in Northern New Jersey. This position is a 3-month contract
to hire position with the end goal of bringing the contractor on full-time.

I am specifically looking for a Project Manager with experience managing
both technical and non-technical projects of various size and complexity. I
am looking for someone who comes from a healthcare and/or insurance
background who has the desire to stay in the industry. The contractor must
have knowledge of premiums, fees, reimbursements, etc. as it relates to
insurance and healthcare.

This contractor must have experience with both Agile AND Waterfall. The
client is currently between Waterfall and Agile methodologies right now. The
current documented process is in Waterfall, but they use agile when able and
are looking to move more towards agile. Experience with Agile tools used to
calculate velocity and burn downs is necessary. The candidate must be able
to provide examples of user stories.
