Manager of IS / IT (AS/400) A world renowned retailer of high-end women's and men's fashion is seeking a Manager of Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) within a AS/400 environment. Responsibilities will include Help Desk Management, Network Administration, and Programming. The company offers a stable, collaborative and friendly work environment. Responsibilities: Manage IT / IS department in accordance with company's policies, procedures and goals. Ensure proper functionality of information processing systems and make any necessary upgrades. Assist various business operations departments in improving utilization of information systems to improve efficiency Maintain and update computer equipment, hardware and software to meet organizational needs Help Desk Management Provide support to end users on various issues Network Administration Setup, configure and support internal and external networks Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations Troubleshoot network performance issues Create and maintain a disaster recovery plan Recommend upgrades, patches to applications and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to users. This position is responsible for producing and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models, and physical data architecture of data warehouses, data marts, operational data stores and OLTP application databases.
Responsibilities include:
� Analyze business requirements and translate into technical specifications and data rules and transformations for ETL designs.
� Review documentation on data and profile sample data to confirm documentation or gain further insight for the purpose of producing a relational or dimensional model of the data.
� Develop new data models which adhere to WFA database standards
� Enhance existing data models
� Create, Maintain and promote DDL
� Maintain Data dictionary and other metadata
