Description:

Fast-paced medical education company seeking a candidate to work with our team on a series of dinner meetings, advisory boards, and training meetings. Candidate should be client-service oriented, highly organized and technology savvy. This person needs to be extremely organized, with meticulous attention to detail, in order to handle the multiple tasks involved. This role requires strategic thinking, the ability to take initiative, and strong communication skills.

 

Experience/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
*

Outgoing individual with the desire to learn
*

Strong computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet, and database management
*

Exceptional attention to detail, articulate and possessing excellent oral and written communications and strong interpersonal skills
*

Ability to manage stress in a professional manner and work well under pressure
*

Team oriented and capable of multi-tasking on projects in a fast-paced environment with short timeframes
*

Ability to work outside standard hours when necessary

  Responsibilities:

*

Assist team on execution of 300+ more events annually
*

Manage event logistics including but not limited to speaker travel, AV, venue selection, data entry, client communications
*

Assist with reporting, taking inbound registration and outbound recruitment efforts
*

Assist with distribution and collection of onsite materials for live meetings
*

Manage and process post program materials

Education:

*

Bachelor's degree required

Working Conditions:

*

Availability to work outside standard work hours (evenings and/or weekends) as needed to meet client deadlines

 This professional will be responsible for creating, planning, budgeting and delivering extraordinary group incentive travel experiences throughout North America, Europe and beyond. 

 

This is a highly versatile, important position in an award-winning company with strong management and a powerful reputation in the industry.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT: A minimum of eight years' creating, planning and delivering innovative and profitable group travel program solutions -- within an incentive travel, meetings and events, and/or experiential events organization. Bachelor's degree preferred.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: This person will: -- create proposals for imaginative, award-winning incentive travel programs through sourcing properties and destinations, DMCS, event production companies, speakers' bureaus, transportation companies, airlines, cruise companies and more; -- artistically create, lead, coach, guide and transfer program knowledge within the Travel Experience Team; -- exceed our clients' expectations, our profit goals, and our quality standards of execution and delivery; -- monitor and assure that program budgets maximize profits through strong negotiations, cost savings and sound financial principles; -- work with our Marketing Communications Department to create inspiring program designs and creative copywriting for all program materials; -- on-site manage the travel experience from start to finish.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: These include: -- 8-plus years' creating, planning and delivering innovative and profitable group travel program solutions; -- Bachelor's Degree preferred; -- Unyielding integrity and commitment, an innate sense of urgency, and a strong appetite for accomplishment, results, quality and profitability; -- Independent thinking, curiosity, uncanny attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, two-way communications, adaptability in style, balance of artistry, quality, time-to-market consciousness, profitability, and a passion for delivering programs as promised; -- Openness to presenting and accepting new ideas and information, and transfering knowledge (to clients and internal team members); an ability to collaborate with team members and departments; -- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Outlook, and an aptitude to adapt and quickly learn new software for travel programs; -- Ability, desire and passion to travel, explore and learn.
