The role of the Project Manager 2 is to drive delivery of estimation,
planning, management, execution and finalization of 3-4 projects of a medium
size and complexity or 1 â€" 2 projects of an Extra Large size and complexity
(as defined by the Project Framework) within each project’s established
time, cost and scope constraints through the complete project lifecycle,
following the Project Framework and other relevant standards as appropriate.




Requirements:
* Educated to University Degree level or
* Equivalent training in technology/Project Management
* Formal project-management or IT-management training such as
Prince2/PMP
* 7+ year’s professional experience
* Formal project-management experience, including the management of
large, complex projects (4+ years)
* Experience managing large, matrixed project teams (4+years)
* Experience managing vendors (3+ years)
* Experience managing technical resources (3+ years)
* Requirements gathering experience (3+ years)
* Broad commercial and technical knowledge developed in a fast-moving
web environment
* Excellence in PM standards and best practices
* Strong problem solving and technical appreciation skills
* Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking
* Experience in writing or helping with business cases and plans
* Full life cycle management including measurement of benefits
realization
* Ability to use metrics to demonstrate delivery of business value
* Committed to delivery/deadlines
* Self-starter, highly organized, detail oriented
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to communicate the concepts of user experience in clear,
expressive English
* Meeting and facilitation skills
* Coaching and mentoring of junior team members

NOTES:

One PM reports to a resource in the UK
One PM working on Wiley Science Solutions/Chem Planner and Bio Planner.,
report to a manager in the UK
They are looking for someone who has experience with integrating multiple
existing products/tools to create new products helpful.
Exp developing innovative products and servicing (prototyping “fail fast”
approach) helpful
German language skills helpful but not required
