I worked on committee to make a proposal for a competitive federal grant which we won for the State of New Jersey
Ready To Work which over 110 organizations applied for 23 grants.

This grant is to help the Long Term Unemployed ( 26+ weeks ) and to match employers with the LTU of New Jersey.

It is for 10 million and is a four year grant. The lead agency is

NJCC Consortium for Workforce & Economic Development www.njworkforce.org
and the State of New Jersey Department of Labor also contributed funds to this effort.

I am looking for employers who will be interested in more information signing up with Neighbors-helping-Neighbors USA www.nhnusa.org
who is the official outreach organization named in the grant to reach both employers and the long term unemployed of NJ.
