The WNO meeting for tonight has been cancelled.

Please do not come out to the Croton Free Library, as it is closed for the
day. Please alert anyone you know that had planned on coming to tonight's
meeting that the Library is closed and no one will be there.

If possible, please respond to this email and let us know that you
understand and are not coming.

We will reschedule tonight's presentation with Joe Chu for a later time.
Invitations will be sent out as usual.

Our next scheduled meeting will be on February 23 with Pamela Etzin.

This individual is responsible for the development and deployment of interactive technologies which deliver our client's digital marketing needs.  The successful candidate will require hands-on development and knowledge of custom solutions, API Intergration, databases and reporting tools. The VP Technology will be responsible for research, assessment, training and adoption of new and existing technologies which will extend capabilities and accelerate results. This position provides technology leadership and direction for all teams and individuals involved in delivering service to our clients. The VP Technology & Service Delivery will support our internal sales and account management teams, work closely with our US client base and interface with our offshore delivery teams. This is a client facing leadership role and will involve participation in new pitches and RFP responses.  Core Responsiblities:·       Direct responsibility for all IT systems, network, hardware, software and telecommunications·       Research, recommend and deploy new technologies and update and sustain the operating environment to keep it technically current and secure·       Manage vendor evaluation and decisions on technology investments including liscence compliance globally. ·       Drive adoption, measure effectiveness of the deployed solutions and incorporate results into next release and technology roadmaps·       Provide subject matter expertise to both internal and external customers and act as clients trusted advisor on technology strategy, trends and best practices·       Lead the design and planning of complex custom software solutions to achieve clients business needs·       Negotiate service level agreements with internal and external customers and service providers  and monitor service delivery to ensure targets and standards are consistently met or exceeded·       Serve as 'hands-on' escalation point to identify and execute approaches to resolve project issues.·       Work with other members of the strategic leadership to team to create and strengthen a powerful, differentiated and cohesive service experience·       Maintain excellent level of technical support and customer satisfaction by providing professional and timely responses and assistance·       Utilize effective performance management practices to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of service to clients·       Maintain a strong understanding of digital best practices and emerging technologies, especially in the area of user experience, digital tools and offerings. ·       Actively participate in the growth and development of the technology team including mentorship and talent acquisition  Qualifications:·       15+ years of hands on technology leadership experience·       Must be an industry leader with 10+ years of digital experience ·       Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems ·       A strong background in data security and privacy·       Demonstrates breadth and depth of operational service delivery management expertise, preferably in a global environement·       Prior success at project coordination involiving multiple technical teams, stakeholders and business functions·       Deep experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and system architecture. ·       Strongknowledge of Web technologies, including HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery,ASP.NET/C#., NHibernate, database systems, API integration, reporting tools, and a variety of software development methodologies. ·       Ability to work across different teams, onshore and offshore and build a robust collaborative communication framework for internal teams. ·       Highly developed oral and written communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting information and influencing senior business executives, both internally and externally·       Willing and able to travel as required both globally and within US.    This position is located in our Chatham, NJ headquarters.
