*First Line Support Analyst - 15-00344*

- *Location: *Nutley, NJ
- *Position Type: *Contract
- *Duration:* 9 Months

3 must haves for the role: 1. understanding of TCP/IP and windows server.
2. Experience working with monitoring systems. 3. Basic understanding of
hardware (must be able to replace memory, hard drives, etc,) 3 nice to
have: 1. Computer science degree. 2. Experience with Client Service
manager. 3. Knowledge of Solaris/Unix. Candidate will work with a total of
12 people providing 24x7 coverage to a datacenter and services running out
of it. (Must be able to work compressed schedule -12 hour shifts)
Bachelor's degree is preferred. 3 years' experience (preferably in a NOC
environment) required.
ACTUAL TITLE: Analyst, First Line Support

Perform application/operating system support for large numbers of
globally-based Windows/Client systems. Analyze alarms from monitoring
tools. Perform corrective actions to restore service for clients
subscribing to TRM services. Implement changes on production devices.
Assist front-line client-supporting staff identifying and resolving complex
application and connectivity failures. Liaise with regional and global
staff to ensure production systems are processing data real-time and that
all emergency procedures and service restoration documentation are updated
accordingly. Responsible for reporting service outages and documenting
events and service outages in accordance with established procedures.

Essential Responsibilities
Ensuring all service checks, changes, procedures are followed as outlined
in service level agreement and internal standard operating procedure.
Offers solutions and suggestions for process and product improvements to
management. Complete daily activities ensuring that the team is meeting
quality standards for each position set by management. Create/Update
incident and change tickets with actions taken by the group. Perform other
miscellaneous duties as needed.

Shift work:

Shift Position: Overnight or Day - (includes weekends and rotation on
ad-hoc basis)

Education / Certifications Required
Associate/Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related
field highly preferred. ITIL certification a plus.

Required Skills and Experience
- Working knowledge/experience of Solaris/Linux or Microsoft Server
Operating Systems
- Working knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office, Internet Protocols, and
networking technologies.
- Solid technical, analytical, and problem solving skills with emphasis on
both process and technology to solve business problems. Demonstrated
ability to work at both conceptual and detailed levels.
-Ability to communicate verbally across global groups in written and verbal
form
- Strong ability to multi-task [including various/changing priorities].
- Highly-accountable and able to deliver high-quality results on time.
- Strives to build knowledge/skills; shares expertise.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Reacts well under pressure

Desired Skills and Experience
Technical Operations experience a plus. Working knowledge of news and/or
financial markets. Experience working within an global organization.
Experience with administrating Windows-based systems in an enterprise
environment. ITIL working knowledge.

Our client is a rapidly-expanding company offering excellent benefits and career-growth opportunity (position was vacated by someone promoted to a new role.)

Key Responsibilities:
This position entails product and process development, tooling and fixture design, supplier/quotation selection and management, product testing, and product documentation generation.

* Work with customers, sales, and marketing to design manufacturable, quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Provide guidance to customers as necessary and appropriate; effectively present findings and oral arguments to customers and/or management
* Design robust, cost effective tools and processes; oversee prototype fabrication.
* Establish new product costs; evaluate how design changes affect costs.
* Work with Operations, Quality, Model Shop, Customer Service, and Logistics departments to produce products at the highest quality level in a timely manner.
* Troubleshoot problems; define preventive and corrective actions.
* Generate system documentation: prints, procedures, inspection protocols, work instructions, process control documents (e.g. Flow Charts, Control Plans, pFMEA, FAI, PPAP), and others as necessary in conjunction with appropriate team members.
* Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to release components from development to mass manufacturing.
* Adhere to company procedures / quality standards and ensure compliance to customer specifications and applicable external regulations (ex: OSHA, FDA).
Position Requirements:

* BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering plus 3-5 years related experience, capable of working in a dynamic environment, well organized, self-motivated.
* Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills along with an aptitude for hands-on problem solving.
* Must be proficient with MS Office and CAD solid modeling (preferably SolidWorks).
* General metallurgy knowledge and/or knowledge of NiTi properties and processing a plus.
* Experience with Process Controls, e.g. Control Plan, pFMEA, DOE, MSA, Problem solving
* Experience working in ISO-9001/13485 or similar environment
* Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
* Excellent communication / organizational skills
