Global, Fortune 500 company with a location in North Fort Worth is seeking
to hire a Java Developer (3 positions) to contribute to the analysis,
design, and development of Java/J2EE solutions Transportation Management
solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Java Developer will participate in all phases of product development
including assessment of current software limitations, design, prototyping,
coding and testing. Will maintain existing code and work on new
functionality depending on requirements. Follow the company software
development processes and standards.

The Java Developer will work on large customer oriented development service
projects; developing, implementing and maintaining simple and complex web
based solutions using OO Design and Programming, J2EE 1.6, Java, JSP,
serverside frameworks, Web Services, WebLogic, Scripting, Version Control
(Subversion), XML, PL/SQL coding, SQL and RDBMS such as Oracle and MS SQL
Server.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* MUST have a 3-5 years experience with Enterprise Applications Web
Development and design
* MUST have solid Java/J2EE programming experience (demonstrated
experience writing Java code in a commercial application environment
preferred), J2EE 1.6.
* MUST have experience with Oracle database and writing Oracle PL/SQL
code, Unix, and Scripting (Perl or Bsh).
* MUST have strong skills in XML, XSL, JavaScript, and JSP.
* MUST have Middle-Tier development experience with WebLogic.

ADDITIONALLY:

* MUST have strong design experience, mapping requirements to the
technical design within the existing framework.
* MUST have experience in developing client and server side code for
internal and external web applications.
* Experience in setting up web application security and must have
version control with preferably Subversion experience.
* MUST have knowledge in a number of web development technologies,
including; web servers Tomcat and/or Apache, Eclipse and/or Java Beans. Will
assist in defining development framework to be used for current and future
web development. This developer will work on multiple customization projects
for large customer accounts.
* ANY experience with TMS development and JDA TM product experience
will be helpful.

EDUCATION:

* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
* Masters of Science is preferred.

Join NJSENG members at a Joint meeting to be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 155 Linwood Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450. The meeting will be in the Parlor on the main floor. The meeting will start at 6:30pm and will end no later than 8:30pm. There is parking in the back of the Church.

Our speaker for the meeting is George Pace. George will discuss the skill sets you will need for today's Digital Technologies.
