Reporting to the Managing Principal, the Director of Marketing is responsible for the development, execution and management of all marketing strategies and tactics to support the goals and objectives of HJ Sims. More specifically, this person will manage all day-to-day marketing activities including the firm's strategic brand development and execution, development and delivery of all print and digital marketing, and will work closely with colleagues throughout the country to support national and regional marketing initiatives. He/she will work closely with the Principals of the firm and other departments to meet the business goals and objectives of the banking and wealth management groups.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement annual marketing plan and budget in support of achieving the firm's goals and objectives.
• Create and execute print and digital marketing campaigns to build HJ Sims brand awareness, promote exclusive new issues and private placement offerings, and support the sale of bonds in the secondary market.
• Ensure the continuity of message through all channels: print, digital and social.
• Oversee the development and content of hjsims.com.
• Manage all sponsorship opportunities and programs with partners and industry events, ensuring maximum value of all sponsorships.
• Deploy seminar marketing program in key markets throughout the United States, including marketing of events and onsite requirements.
• Oversee all industry conference & event participation and brand presence at all events.
• Manage segmented client communications, both printed and electronic, which includes audience selection, creative development and deployment.
• Develop marketing messages and support collateral for banking, middle market and private client group needs.
• Manage the tracking and maximization of communication efforts, including ROI determination.
• Manage and collaborate with outside agencies.
• Perform competitive analysis, and stay current on industry trends.
• Liaise with the compliance officer to ensure adherence to industry requirements.
• Handle public relations for the firm.

Overview

Our client is seeking a strong Sr. Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join
the core product engineering group and play a critical role in driving the
next generation architecture for their core SMB platform and application
delivery architecture. The Engineer will work with other technical resources
to design and develop firmware, drivers, diagnostics tools and new services;
Evangelize Linux, embedded platform, frameworks and tools within the product
engineering organization and mentor other engineers to better utilize OS and
embedded capabilities; Communicate with vendor partners on design and
implementation issues and help with architecture, design and implementation
of product enhancements to support cloud deployment models..

This is a 12-month W-2 contract assignment in Danbury, CT.

Skills and Qualifications:

. BS in Computer Science or Engineering field (or equivalent) is
required.

. Minimum of 5+ years designing, developing, debugging and supporting
drivers, firmware, and software in embedded Linux environment.

. Excellent coding skills in C/C++ and shell scripting.

. Experience with Linux development tool chains and tools.

. Experience working with boot loaders, device trees and BSPs.

. Development experience in embedded hardware systems involving ARM
processors.

. Experience with Yocto tools and distributions desired.

. Experience connecting embedded systems to cloud and web based
technologies (HTML, JavaScript, REST) a plus.

. Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities
