Overview:
Our client is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop, test and support
web-based applications that include content management, large scale print,
e-delivery, and smartphone solutions. Essential Functions: Design, Develop
and Test enhancements to the existing content management portal; Implement
clients using existing platform;
Produce effective technical documentation where needed.
This is a full-time permanent position in Madison, CT.
Skills and Qualifications
. 4+ years in software development, including at least 2 years of working
with Java/J2EE
. Familiarity with Distributed enterprise applications
. Proficiency in MySQL, Apache/Tomcat
. Knowledge of smart phone platforms (IOS, Android) preferred
. Knowledge of large scale printing technologies (PDF, PPML) preferred
. Experience working on small and fast paced software teams.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Release Manager whose primary responsibility will be
to develop and maintain the release management lifecycle which includes
scheduling, coordinating, reporting and managing releases across the
enterprise for multiple applications across various Portfolios, and to help
improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with
continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments.
This is a fulltime permanent employee position in Madison, CT.
Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations
environment in systems analysis or development
* 2-6 years of previous release and/or project management experience
* Experience with Release Management and Code Management Software
* Formal training and solid understanding of project management
practices and principles preferred
* Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams
toward task completion
* Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
* General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office expert level
knowledge of Excel, working Knowledge of Access
* Linux experience required
