The phone interview is now a typical step in the hiring process because in-person interviews are a logistical challenge and time consuming. The phone interview is used to take a pool of candidates and, through a series of questions that confirm that the information provided is accurate and that the person is professional and articulate, select the top contenders to be brought in to interview.

requires the consultant to interact with traders.
Location: 12+ month
Visa: H1B/EAD/GC/Citizen

Job Description:
Team consists of 9 support analysts
.To provide 1st, 2nd level support service to Equity Derivatives traders
.Implement changes to or new versions of applications.
.Pro-actively manage the equity derivatives applications by continually
looking for service and application availability improvements.
.To carry out tactical development, testing and deployment of systems
changes as scheduled by the Production Manager
Role/Team Summary:
Role will provide exposure to the following:
.Exposure to working in trading floor environment
.Technical knowledge of some of the following:
O Detailed knowledge of Derivatives trading systems
o Detailed knowledge of Risk Management systems
o Databases, SQL Server a distinct advantage.
O IP networking and security
o System administration level experience of WINTEL, Solaris (10), Linux
(Redhat)
o Market Data, Reuters experience advantage
. Experience of scripting languages e.g. VBA
. Windows, Networking concepts
.Some development experience on Windows platform
.Systems Development life-cycle
Essential Experience: (Must have skills)
Must have:
.Equity Derivatives application experience
.SQL
.Demonstrated strong trouble shooting skills
In addition at least one of the following:
.Windows Server experience
.ITRS - Geneos
.Market Data systems
