Subject: Livelink

Lou,

As stated, we are seeking an individual that could start in the upcoming week. This is a contract position currently listed as going through July but realistically this could be a multi-year position. Rate will be in the 65-70/hr range.

Cell phone is the best way to reach me this weekend at 610 256-1274.

Here is the description:

The Livelink Consultant will serve as the Livelink Workflow Designer of the Livelink Support Team, which support a variety of Livelink application servers in the development and production environments. This individual must be highly skilled, knowledgeable, experienced with Open Text's Livelink suite of tools, and have strong experience in and the ability to troubleshoot Livelink-related problems. The consultant will work in a large corporate environment and under aggressive time lines supporting multiple concurrent projects.

The Consultant's responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

1) Configure and support the Livelink Records Management module.

2) Configure and support the Livelink Case Management module.

3) Optimize the effectiveness of the Searching and Indexing system.

4) Install, configure, and support the LiquidOffice eForms server.

5) Install, configure, and support the Livelink 9.7.1/10.0 clusters.

6) Install, configure, and support the Open Text Media Management servers.

7) Provide second-tier user support to the Livelink user community.

8) Provide technical support to various Livelink projects.

The successful candidate should be a 'self-starter' with the following education, experience, and technical qualifications:

· Must have 3+ years experience providing design, planning and implementation for Livelink workflows with "hands-on" experience.

· Must have 2+ years experience in Livelink system administration and user support.

· Must have high level of comfort working with the Livelink Search Infrastructure and all the related processes.

· Must possess analytical and critical thinking skills with technical problems of high complexity, i.e., ability to collect information to ascertain the root cause of a complex issue and make timely decisions when recommending corrective action.

· Must have good interpersonal skills.

· Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and assignments of moderate to high complexity, working tenaciously to meet or beat deadlines.

· Must be able to work independently to provide full support to the Livelink environment.

· Must have knowledge of quality assurance and testing procedures.

· Other non-Livelink toolset skills:

o Microsoft IIS 6/7.5 webserver configuration

o Microsoft Encrypting File System

o .net framework

o Microsoft Active Directory

o Scripting languages

o MS-SQL 2005/2008 Database

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 and Microsoft Office 2007/2010.

· Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology.

· Livelink certification preferred.

Best Regards,

Mike
