REQUIRED: Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 5 years
pharmaceutical experience in clinical trials. Must have a thorough
understanding of clinical study design, CRF design, and project management and
familiarity with data handling. Must have experience in supervising and managing
vendors, especially CROs.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for implementation and management of all aspects of
clinical trial activities. Serves as the leader and coordinator
for implementation of all clinical trial activities and management of the
clinical trial. Ability to work independently in the management of clinical
trials is necessary. Highly developed skill in medical writing relevant to the
clinical protocol, pre-IND and/or IND and Clinical Study Reports. In conjunction
with Clinical Leader, oversees protocol and Investigator Brochure development
in collaboration with the appropriate departments. Identifies sites or assists
in site selection. Liaison between Clinical and Legal and Regulatory Affairs for
all pertinent documents. Liaison between Clinical and Data Management for
development of CRFs/completion guidelines/study materials and to ensure quality
data. Liaison between Clinical and Safety. In collaboration with Clinical
Leader, establish and maintain timelines, tracking enrollment and communicates
status of activities to the team. Manages the CRO to verify that study conduct
is in compliance with the protocol, regulations, SOPs, and Study Monitoring
Plan. Partners with the Project Study Team to achieve study objectives and
corporate goals. Provide study-specific direction and training to clinical site
staff as appropriate. Contribute to the ongoing scientific review of the
clinical trial data during the course of the trial.
