I just started working for HealthFirst last month.
I was unemployed for a while and would like to help people who are in position I was in a short time ago.
 
My company is located in downtown Manhattan, it manages Medicaid/Medicare. They are expending and there for, hiring.

Position:  Senior Project Manager (Interactive)
Address: New York, NY (local candidates only)
Length:  3 months           
Bill Rate: $85-95/hr
Face-to-Face interview required at own expense
Skills Required:                                                        
Typically possesses 7 to 10 years of relevant professional work experience.
Digital advertising agency experience required
Must know MS project, familiarity with other PM tools a plus.
Prior management, supervisory or team leader experience.
Potential monthly trips to the VA office
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.
Experience with user research a plus.
 
Job Description:
The candidate should be familiar with all facets of the interactive development process from research and design through technical execution & deployment. Should be comfortable leading a multi-disciplinary team of interaction and visual designers, user researchers, writers, user interface developers and software engineers who collaborate closely with each other and with product management to create innovative and usable digital products and services. Working alongside senior user experience team members and partner firms, the senior interactive project manager is responsible for the management and overall operations of interactive projects of various complexity, size and duration, helping to ensure that the project team is poised to meet the objectives and goals of each project on-time and on-budget. An enthusiastic problem solver who thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project, the project manager acts as the key point of contact for both the
client and the project team and plays a pivotal role in the success of any major engagement. The ideal candidate is an empathetic listener and creative thinker who is passionate about the Web and who can work with ease among team members from various disciplines. They should also understand the balance between personal accountability and knowing when to escalate an issue.
