I hope this message finds your Spring going wonderfully and you finding time
to enjoy some of the nice weather as well as the fantastic thunder storms we
have just had! I am writing as I have two amazing opportunities that have
just come up and I am wondering who you might know that would be interested,
qualified or just great to speak with about either of these positions. Both
positions are full time, permanent positions located here in the Twin Cities
metro area. Please contact me immediately if you have any questions or can

Position #1
I am looking for an innovative, talented, accomplished and highly motivated
Technical Director for a permanent position on the East side of the Twin
Cities. I have included the basic requirements below, if you or someone you

Requirements
. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or
similar field is required. Advanced degree is strongly preferred!
. Must have 10 to 15 years of experience developing new data storage
technologies and/or storage products.
. Must have a minimum of 8 years in a managerial role with the most recent
experience being at the Senior level of management.
. Within the past 3 to 5 years must have experience in the data storage
industry with success in understanding and identifying new and emerging
trends with the following technologies:
~ Operating Systems - Windows and Mac OS (required)
~ Flash, SSD, HDD (required)
~ Firmware, software, storage hardware, security (encryption and
authentication). (required)
~ Cloud storage and wireless technologies, wired interfaces and digital
signal processing for A/V and DLNA (strongly preferred).
. Proven success working with business leaders to define technology
development strategies and then communicate, build, and garner commitment
and align people to support the business direction.
. Experience leading in laboratory management with demonstrated ability to
define technology development plans and deliver key technology development
milestones on schedule and within budget.
. Has and exudes a passion to achieve results that exceed expectations.
. Outstanding communication skills with all levels within an organization
(both written and verbal)
. Ability to build interaction, collaboration and cohesion in a highly
cross-functional environment with teams located locally, nationally and
internationally.
. Proven success advocating both personal and business ideas and positions
effectively as well as the ability to influence and negotiate successfully
across organizational boundaries.
. Exceptionally skilled at acquiring and retaining the talent needed to
implement team and business goals as well as manage all aspects of that
team.
. Must be able and willing to travel 25-50% of the time.
. Applicants must be able to legally work for any employer within the United
States.

Position #2

I am looking for a mid to senior level hardware engineer who specifically
has experience with biometric hardware. This is for a permanent, full time
position also located on the East side of the Twin Cities. I have included
the basic requirements below, if you or someone you know are interested

Requirements
. Must have a bachelor degree in electrical engineering, computer science or
similar degree.
. Three or more years of experience working with biometric authentication
hardware.
. Five or more years of experience with hardware integration.
. Solid experience in development of one or more of the following platforms:
Linux, Windows, MacOS, BSD, and/or Android.
. Adept at working in an embedded software development environment.
. Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written)
. Experience with multiple programming languages such as C, C++, C#, MFC-C,
VB, Visual Studio 2008/2010, and Java - we will show preference to
candidates with a strong mix of these.
. Experience with source code control, unit test and debugging skills.
. The ability to write technical white papers.
. Strong leadership skills.
. Ability to successfully handle multiple simultaneous projects and also
managing both time and priorities.
. Applicants must be able to legally work for any employer within the United
States.
. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of the
Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area or be willing to move to within commuting
distance at the applicants own expense.
