Critical member of the Enterprise Project Management Office. The EPMO centers around maintaining and maturing project management standards, guiding the project portfolio, empowering project teams, and cultivating project management best practices across the STS organization.

The application manager's role is to take responsibility for a specific application (or suite of applications) from a holistic perspective – e.g., through different projects, across requirements from different business units. They ensure best practices, proper process and procedure, and appropriate staffing and management of the application, the team, and the related projects.

This role is to lead a dedicated team of 2 offshore developers. The position will manage all lights on support requests and minor enhancement project needs of the business partners. The position requires coordination and planning and communication of scheduled releases, production support problem resolution and project status. Overall responsibilities include:

•Establish direction, plans and toolset analysis across all areas of EPMO, ensuring that recommended solutions are policy-compliant and deliver the greatest ROI and level of protection for the organization

The data structures contain business customer mobility volumes, revenues, network quality measures and churn measures.

Data quality and consistency checking (data cleanup) is required.

The work also involves preliminary statistical analyses and modeling of this data.

The NPW is responsible for working with an existing team of analysts to extract and integrate business mobility data from various sources and to create data objects suitable for descriptive analysis and modeling.

The work supports analysis of business mobility volumes and revenues and includes some impacts of mobility network quality.

There will be a heavy focus on network and non-network factors affecting churn

Skill Sets Required:
Statistics Ph.D. strongly preferred. Statistical programming skills in S+, R, SAS and TIBCO Spotfire Miner (formerly known as Insightful Miner) or SAS Miner.

1. Links to the Facebook pages of many current company employees.
2. Links to the Facebook pages of many former company employees. The
company has about 900 people on staff. I stopped counting current and
former employees when I hit 100. There were more.
3. Photos of these people � which make particular people easier to
recognize and meet at various networking venues.
4. Thousands of friends of the company�s current and former employees.
Some of whom are probably my client�s friends too.
5. Tons of personal, �find common ground� type of information about
the company�s current and former people.
6. A page for two active golf clubs open to company employees and
friends of the company. My client plays golf.
7. A page for an in-house chapter of a professional association. My
client is a regional leader in that association.
8. A company news page replete with updates and names of employees and
customers.
9. A page describing the company�s history.
10. A page describing the company�s most significant product.
11. Two jobs pages � one that has never been posted and one that hasn�
t been posted since 2010. #Fail. The company�s recruiting function isn�t
social on Facebook.
So, it can�t hurt to mosey over to _Facebook_ (http://www.facebook.com/) ,
drop your target companies� names in the search box, and see what you find.
