Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Writer who will be
responsible for planning, writing, and editing of process documents in the
area of clinical research.

Major responsibilities include:
. Working with department heads to establish a schedule and understanding of
processes to be developed . Creating and revising SOPs/WPDs with subject
matter experts for routine functions within Medical Research . Managing the
review process efficiently with internal and external reviewers through to
approval . Knowledge of regulatory requirements involved in these procedures
. Building and maintaining effective communication bridges with personnel .
Functioning as a project manager to ensure work is proceeding on schedule
and process documents are released on time

Required Skills and Qualifications:
. Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
. At least 3-5 years of relevant Technical Writing experience in the
Pharmaceutical industry

The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2011 Work Local First Regional Job Fair to be held on September 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel.

Much more than just your average job fair, the Chamber's Work Local First Job Fair is a comprehensive employment event featuring guest speakers, career seminars, resume critiques, a question-and-answer session with interview experts, and much more. Representatives from companies including JetBlue, Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Stewart International Airport, AFLAC, Adams Fairacre Farms, Health Quest, Cumulus Broadcasting and more will be on hand to collect resumes and meet with applicants.

I will be facilitating the seminar event featuring presenters such as: Carol Heady, president and founder of Learning and Performance Solutions, and Ellyn Enisman, founder of EKS Consultants, Inc., who will present "Advanced Interviewing Techniques and Job Search Strategy for a Challenging Job Market," Robin Rabideau, Manpower Branch Manager, presenting "How To Use A Staffing Agency In Your Job Search," Gordon McAleer, president of the recruiting firm McAleer & Associates, delivering "Putting Your Best Foot Forward – Perspective From The Recruiter," and Skip Weisman, the leadership & workplace communication expert who will present "End Procrastination NOW!"

In addition, Ellen Smith, LCSW, BCD, is a life coach, psychotherapist and certified health coach who will provide one-on-one advice regarding "How to Manage Stress in Uncertain Times." Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced OBIEE Developer who will work with
users in analyzing business problems and delivering customized solutions
using OBIEE tools. The role is focused on the front end, i.e., designing,
developing, testing and deploying dashboards under the supervision of the
OBIEE Architect. The ideal candidate will know how the components fit
together, understand the big picture, and after getting up to speed be able
to work independently with Sales people who are out of state. The consultant
will also assist with executing and maintaining appropriate OBIEE
administration best practices and procedures, and be expected to perform
training and knowledge transfer on OBIEE features to technical staff.

Required Skills and Experience:

* 5-7 years of design and development experience using OBIEE

* Solid understanding of OBIEE Suite (Dashboard, OBI Server, Answers,
and Analytics)

* Strong overall Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing acumen
(e.g. OLAP vs OLTP, data modeling, ETL)

* Good Oracle development foundation (e.g., TOAD, PL/SQL)

* OBIEE architecture and administration experience is a plus

* Demonstrated business skills in understanding and responding to
users' requirements within a realistic scope

* Must have excellent communication skills

Role
