capital equipment through better utilization - with well-documented tracking
processes and systems for capturing and measuring critical data)

. Six sigma certification (desired)

. Technical astuteness with regard to machine installation, scheduling and
transportation

. Knowledge of and work experience in safety enhancement and environmental
compliance, including a solid understanding of OSHA requirements, and ISO
12000 and ISO 9000 implementation. Serves as an internal auditor for ISO
standards, ensuring that proper investigations are conducted and completed

. MRP Implementation experience, as well as proficiency in computer software

. Working knowledge of SPC (statistical process control)

. Clear understanding of and appreciation for quality control with attention
to detail and accurate reporting

. Excellent communication, goal setting, and time management skills

. Capability of making independent, and well-thought-out decisions in
support of the business

. Ability and acuity to see the value in long-term employees, while
coaching/motivating and helping them to grow and develop in an ever-changing
culture

. Initiative in understanding where change needs to occur (and which
processes and controls need to be in place and re-enforced)

. Excellent rapport in dealing with others - diplomatic, calm, mature and
trustworthy

. Highly customer and vendor-focused attitude; when necessary, acts as a
liaison between internal production and sales and external parties to
address, for example, improved logistics, new product development or add-on
