The cloud positions could be in Cary, North Carolina; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; New Providence, New Jersey; or Miamisburg, Ohio.
Client in the process of extending Cloud services to support the business unit partners. Taking an Agile approach to delivering new service offerings to support both traditional infrastructure and infrastructure as code models. In addition to cloud brokerage, we are implementing services around orchestration, cloud management and governance.
Responsibilities 1.Work with engineers and management to modify or develop standards and procedures governing the installation, configuration and operation of virtualization technologies and services 2.Work with business teams to engineer infrastructure solutions to support their needs 3.Validate requirements documents in Service Level Packages (SLPs). Ensure the creation of traceable, measurable, well documented business requirements 4.Develop high and detailed design documents Service Design Packages (SDPs) 5.Coordinate engineering across technology disciplines (e.g. security, network, storage) Qualifications: •Bachelors Degree required •10 - 15 years relevant experience required •ITIL foundation certified •Public cloud services (Amazon Cloud Services or Azure Cloud Services preferred) •Internal Cloud / Orchestration – Knowledge of industry leading toolsets •Engineering/costing high performing, redundant and cost efficient cloud solutions •Implementing and supporting cloud solutions within an enterprise General Tools: • Cloudwatch • Cloudformation Tools such as: • Dynatrace • SolarWind • Zabbix • Jenkins • Python
