Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to develop and
maintain network monitoring systems for a global network supporting the
company. Supported systems will include routers, firewalls, switches,
circuits and servers in multiple data centers and numerous remote offices
across the world.

Responsibilities:

* Administer, maintain and support the security, availability, and
performance of the network systems.

* Support the proper functioning of the systems through strong
knowledge of switching, routing, TCP/IP, VPN, eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, HSRP, GRE.

* Knowledge of internet firewalling particularly Juniper SSG/SRX
running JUNOS. Ability to create and modify firewall policies with minimal
supervision is a requirement.

* Ensure the highest possible availability of the networks through
strong knowledge of internet routing protocols, particularly OSPF, BGP
(internal and external types) as related to Internet based peering.

* Technical role with project management mindset

Required Skills and Experience

* Experience with network monitoring tools such as CA Spectrum,
NetVoyant, Kiwi, WUG, Nagios as well as general familiarity with SNMP is
required.

* CCNA or JNCIA with 5+ years' experience required

* CCNP or JNCIP

* Good VPN knowledge (IPSec GRE etc.), Cisco 2921 routers, 3750
switches and JuniperSRX and EX switiching platforms. Ability to upgrade and
troubleshoot devices without assistance

* Cisco and Juniper skills

* Network management knowledge and experience

* Strong knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF and BGP

* Strong knowledge of switching

* MPLS, Carrier services and ISP knowledge

* Ability to troubleshoot multiple carrier networks across the world.

* ADSL/SDSL/VDSL/ISDN PRI/3G.

* Ability to work under pressure and multi-task multiple projects on a
daily basis

* Quality of Service (QoS), and Cisco IP Telephony, which should
include good product knowledge for products such as Cisco Unified Call
Manager and Cisco Unified Unity.

* Network management (knowledge of NetQOS, Kiwi, Radius, Infoblox,
Arbor recommended)

* Knowledge of wireless technologies. Aruba or similar would be
useful.

Job Description:
  
•             Provide database administration support to multiple dbs across SQL Server 2008  -must have  5+ ys of SQL SERVER db experience
•             Review and assess impact on requests for enhancements to applications from a data perspective.
•             Create and maintain Database Objects like Tables, Views, Materialized views, Indexes, Constraints, Sequence, Synonyms and Database Link.
•             Review database patches provided by vendors and implement, test and deploy them as needed.
•             Support development and enhancements to both logical & physical database models.
•             Review stored procedures and SQL queries developed by the development staff for performance & Provide appropriate guidance to fine-tune the objects.
•             Develop & maintain ERD diagrams, data dictionaries and metadata repositories using tools like ERWIN.
•             Developing and maintaining backup/recovery methods and disaster recovery procedures.
