POSITION TITLE: Project Engineer / Project Manager

SPECIFICATION NUMBER: 68792CRI

LOCATION: Morristown, New Jersey

COMPENSATION: $120,000 - 150,000 base + up to 16% Bonus

COMPANY: Our client is a leader in the Medical Device industry.

POSITION SUMMARY

This is an opportunity to play a key-role in an aggressive, growth-oriented Company that provides an entrepreneurial work environment in an emerging industry.

Direct initiatives and insure they are thoroughly documented in all processes.

The candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing and Facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: B.S. in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Chemical
• Experience: 10-15 years total business experience including
• Working in a manufacturing environment
• Working with web handling equipment in the printing and coating industries.
[Experience with latest Gallus printing technology is significant advantage]
• Extensive experience and proven track record specifying, procuring, installing, qualifying and commissioning web handling equipment
• Proven track record successfully managing significant multi-faceted equipment installations requiring utilities and facilities related improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with and manage equipment and service suppliers, local authorities and internal customers simultaneously
• Must be familiar with most current drive and control technologies and have good understanding of control theory and electrical components
• Must have ISO experience; GMP experience is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Proven Project Management experience
• Experience with facilities/site management



ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs evaluation, selection, procurement, installation and qualification of most appropriate cost effective manufacturing and facilities related equipment.
• Establishes project schedule, financial parameters and technical requirements while efficiently managing all aspects of a project from initiation through transfer to end user.
• Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing processes to improve operational efficiency, and product quality through collection of, interpretation and analysis of data
• Communicate project requirements, specifications, project schedule and budget constraints to cross-functional teams, including engineers, senior management and consultants
• Develop status reports, including project financials, insuring project team is meeting user requirements and tracking cost control
• Is familiar with safety and other governing regulations and insures compliance with regulations
• Supports improvement initiatives through acquisition and installation of new equipment
• Supports manufacturing operations on a daily basis by providing guidance, troubleshooting and technical expertise to resolve process related problems
• Works with outside vendors and local authorities
