Overview

Our client is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer who will be actively
involved with the planning, design, and implementation of Microsoft
infrastructure and related hardware and software for a wide range of
projects. The candidate will be expected to operate independently on
projects, as well as participate with the team on various projects and
incidents.

Position Responsibilities:

. Implement test plans, migration plans, and delivery plans using
our proven project management methodology.

. Troubleshoot server and application issues, respond to and resolve
Remedy incidents escalated to us

. Prepare design documents and presentations. Clearly describe the
design, including rationale for decisions and implications of decisions.

. Test various system upgrades in our virtual lab, develop and
execute test plans, follow change management when ready to implement in
production

. Assist with systems management and reporting using Microsoft
System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Symantec Anti-Virus Management
Console, backups, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

. Provide Exchange 2010 and Active Directory support, as well as
VMware and NetApp support

. Contribute to our library of documentation - both creating new
documentation and updating existing documentation as needed.

. Create detailed Visio diagrams as part of documentation

. Work in a team environment. Provide direction, leadership and
mentoring for other team members. Participate in knowledge transfer
sessions with the team.

Skills and Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent
experience

. 7+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years supporting
Microsoft Servers and applications

. Expert knowledge of Active Directory Active Directory 2008/2003
experience including Group Policy and federation services

. Expert knowledge of Exchange 2007/2010, Knowledge of OCS/Lync

. Understanding of Windows 2003/2008 Server/AD domain infrastructure

. Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, Server 2003, including
clustering

. VMware ESX experience a must

. PowerShell scripting, as well as .NET and/or VB scripting

. NetApp Storage configuration and management

. Microsoft SCOM 2007 R2 monitoring and reporting

. Blackberry 5.x and iPhone support a plus

. Ability to understand, assess and propose solutions for resolving
customer questions and issues.

. Speaks clearly and expresses self well in one-on-one conversations
and groups.

. Develops effective written communications and uses them
appropriately.

. Effectively manages own time and resources.

. Seeks to apply technology and innovation to improve efficiency and
solve problems.

The Manager, Accounting position is a unique opportunity to put your skills to work in the most

Position Summary
The Manager, Accounting is part of the Administration team and reports to the Controller. The main
function of this position is to manage the payroll and ensure that Robin Hood maintains accurate,
complete, and up-to-date accounting and benefits records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compensation and Benefits
Manage and perform all payroll functions and controls
Fulfill role of point person for all staff for all questions regarding compensation
Maintain compensation budget, projections, actuals including calculation of full-time equivalents
Maintain records for 403(b) retirement contribution & submissions; calculate annual 401(a) plan
contributions
Responsible for 457 deferred compensation plan accounting and quarterly reporting to employees
Ensure agreement between Finance and Human Resources payroll and benefit records
Review benefit invoices to insure proper inclusion of employees at approved rates
Responsible for compliance reporting (ie. Department of Labor reports)
Provide compensation reporting for Board and Executives as requested
Prepare annual Employee Summary of Salary and Benefits
Work with HR Director on special projects related to compensation and/or benefits

Accounting
Reconcile cash accounts as assigned
Assist with cash management function including processing of bank transfers and reviewing daily
bank activity as required
Assist with the verification, recording, and processing of donor contributions and cash receipts
Perform general ledger account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations as requested.

Other
Prepare and analyze schedules related to the annual audit and annual tax filings
Perform special projects as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer, Controller or Chief
Administrative Officer
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a not-for-profit environment
At least 2 years of payroll processing and benefits administration responsibilities, especially in
retirement benefits
Proven Excel, Word, Outlook, ADP payroll processing skills
Strong attention to detail and accurate with figures
Ability to successfully work in fast paced environment, handle multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong drive and commitment to deliver high quality results in a timely manner
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated passion for Robin Hood's mission and the flight against poverty in NYC

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required
