Hey, it's been a  while but things do sometimes slow down in summer. Here's my latest blog post from Someone's Gonna Get Hired, It Might As Well Be You!

TITLE:   Vice President, Controller
COMPANY:  Commercial Bank
LOCTION:NJ (Essex County)
 
Under general direction of the Chief Financial
Officer, coordinates and maintains an accounting system that properly reflects
the financial position of the bank.
 
Direct the establishment and maintenance of a
classification system for new and established general ledger accounts to meet reporting
requirements of various regulatory authorities and to provide the responsibility
centers with adequate operating and financial data.
 
Establish operations budgets for each responsibility
center based on projected operating cost and the bank's asset and liability management
plan.
 
Supervise the preparation of earnings, dividend,
and other financial reports for the bank and the holding company.  Analyzes profitability trends and reviews
results with bank management, the bank's board of directors.
 
Assist in the preparation and review of all
regulatory reports.
 
Establish and implement operating procedures to
ensure proper internal controls in accounting and operation related areas.
 
 
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate should have an undergraduate degree in
accounting and a minimum of ten years of relevant accounting and financial experience.
Must have a minimum of four years banking experience.
 
COMPENSATION:
Compensation includes a competitive base salary,
performance bonuses, 401k, and a full benefits package is available.

TITLE:Commercial Lending Officer and Real Estate Lender Positions
COMPANY:  Commercial Bank (over $600MM in assets).
LOCATION: 1 in Boston & 1 in Long
Island, New York
 
As a member of the Commercial Lending Division, will
be responsible for identifying and cultivating new customer relationships and
managing a portfolio of Commercial and Industrial (C&I) loans. Target
Market is small and mid- sized businesses with $2-$25 Million in revenue and
borrowing needs up to $4 Million.
 
·        Identifying
and acquiring profitable business relationships and cross-selling all bank
products to ensure that annual production goals are achieved.
 
·        Lead
generation and sourcing, initial analysis and evaluation of the credit worthiness
of borrowers. 
 
·        Ongoing credit administration including the
identification and reporting of any internal or external weakness in the loan
portfolio and the development of strategies to eliminate or mitigate risk.
·        Resolution of loan delinquencies, assignment
of risk ratings, and maintenance of credit files to ensure compliance with all
legal, regulatory and Bank policy requirements.
IDEAL
CANDIDATE: 
This candidate must have a four year degree and
at least 5 of experience as a Commercial Lender.  Completion of a formal credit training
program or equivalent credit training

Responsibilities
Web Analytics
·Measure, report, and analyze all key performance indicators for the company website on a monthly and quarterly basis

Qualifications

Our client is seeking a talented Editorial and Production Assistant to join their dynamic marketing group. The candidate must be self-motivated, responsible, hardworking, comfortable working independently or with a team, able to work under pressure, and able to meet deadlines.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
·Proofreading, copy-editing, and fact-checking our marketing materials.
