Overview:
Major firm is in need of a Business Analyst in the Bethlehem, PA office. Duration is approximately six months. This is more of an entry to mid-level job.
Responsibilities:
* Provide customer support to IT and Business users on our IT Service Management system, Service Now. Assist them with questions, resolve minor issues, and log incident tickets to be routed to the Tech Team for 2nd level analysis and resolution.
* Assist in gathering requirements from IT areas for new or enhanced functionality in the Service Now system, working to translate their BRDs (Business Requirements Documents) into functional well-documented specifications ready for programming.
* Participate in UAT testing of any new/enhanced services, and coordinate testing of service owners/participants
* Provide assistance as needed to IT areas in creation of knowledge articles or basic reports in the Service Now system.
Qualifications:
* Must have strong proven analytical skills and ability to translate user business requirements into functional/technica
* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Must have excellent customer support skills
* Must be proficient and experienced in MSOffice apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
* Experience with identifying test scenarios and interpreting test results a plus.
* Experience with Service Now system a plus
