Hi John,

As far as helping...

Do you have any ties that would help to find a BA, with retail background in an AS400 environment, that is available for a 1 year contract to assist with a new POS rollout project, in NJ?

Also, I have been looking for a FT Manager, Applications Development, for a biotech client.  They will manage a team of Ruby on Rails developers, and work closely with a user community of research scientists....apps will include lab workflow as well as apps related to bringing new drugs to market and commercialization.  Location is northern NJ/White Plains area.

And, a newer one I just havent had the time to really search for yet - a FT SQL database and application developer with SSIS integration...will work with a BI solutions company in Wayne, helping clients with new BI integration.  Can be someone with 2-3 years experience, good customer-facing skills, target salary around $70k.  Will also have opportunity to learn additional technologies.

MS Dynamics Developers and MS Dynamics CRM - we have both FT and consulting spots

And, we just got a new, CONFIDENTIAL, CTO position, NYC, not all details are in yet, including salary. But here is an overview, let me know if someone comes to mind:

One of the keys to the role is someone with a blend of IT & Marketing skills,

They are seeking a very experienced, hands-on technology chief to manage the day-to-day operations of their IT systems, website and long-term strategic technology vision.

Should have 8-10 years of experience in hands-on management of the administration of internal IT infrastructure, VERY strong database administration skills, development and management of multiple (10+) marketing web sites and online/cloud-based infrastructure and systems. The ability to implement and execute SCRUM, LEAN or Six Sigma development and operational systems top-to bottom is also preferred.

Applicants, in coordination with the CEO's operational objectives, will also need to demonstrate experience in maintaining a secure WAN infrastructure, supervising IT staff, maintaining a technical and marketing documentation library, managing databases and maintaining a cloud-based CRM.

All applicants will need to demonstrate excellent vendor management skills, the ability to manage on-shore and off-shore development teams, in-house contractors, coordinate the technology needs of multiple internal business units, and support and manage domestic and international remote offices and users.

The ability to design, develop, document, train and support in-house and online applications in a non-autonomous environment also required.

Applicants with prior experience in marketing will be given preference. Specifically, the ability to source/generate incoming business leads via targeted e-mail marketing systems, SEO, social media and other technology tools is desired. Prior experience utilizing cloud-based, CRM solutions and the ability to integrate CRM technology into daily operations is also preferred. Demonstrated experience in list building and web-crawling technologies is also preferred. Familiarity with email blasts and email marketing.

Candidates should have relevant Microsoft, Cisco, Project Management and SCRUM/LEAN/Six Sigma certifications in their history, have prior SaaS experience and have five or more years of successfully managing a complex IT operations infrastructure. Superior interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of new, relevant technologies and strong organizational skills are a must. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Finance is required. An advanced degree such as a MBA is preferred.

So John,...is this what you had in mind when you asked if you could help me!?

Warm regards,
Sue
