1. POSITION: .NET Software Engineer, R&D Group

Position Overview:
An experienced hands-on software engineer with at least seven years of experience to help design and develop enterprise solutions delivered both as installed software and as services. Software engineering experience designing and building desktop, server and web based systems is required. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with Microsoft Windows application development using both Win32 and .NET APIs, as well as SQL databases. The ability to effectively manage individual work as part of a team is critical to this position.

Software engineering experience designing and building enterprise systems is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise solutions delivered both as products and as services. The ability to organize requirements and architect a solution is critical to this position.

Required Experience and Skills:
• System architecture skills encompassing networking, operating systems, datastores, web services and user interfaces, and overall Object design.
• Participation in software projects from inception through delivery and subsequent releases.
• Requirements gathering and management.
• Agile software development processes including best practices and tools.
• Strong verbal and written communications abilities.
• Master's degree preferred- in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing mobile applications, which include evaluating designs, determining appropriate architectures, layout and styling controls, creating custom controls, wiring interactions, and tying client applications into back-end technologies.
• Create technical solutions according to interaction/visual specifications and client specific environment
• Experience with designing use case diagrams, business model diagrams and process flowcharts.

CB Server Infrastructure Engineer

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Individual will work as part of the CB Infrastructure team primarily responsible for managing all DCMA's server infrastructure supporting Daiwa's global convertible bonds trading business. Individual will report to the CB Infrastructure lead / Manager. Individual will be required to work with Daiwa infrastructure teams at other global Daiwa offices to provide support and design ideas to maintain a stable and robust global infrastructure with high level of availability. Individual will be actively working on improving the monitoring and support systems of the server infrastructure environment working in conjunction with DCMAs infrastructure and other technology teams. Individual will need to have good knowledge of various administrative programming languages such as Python, Perl, C and Java mostly for the purpose of infrastructure management, automation and system monitoring.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting CB infrastructure environment including backups, Nagios monitoring and server hardware infrastructure.

Collaborating with Global Insight Infrastructure team on design plans and efforts on a regular basis.

Supporting Insight DBAs with recommendation and support solutions on an as needed basis.

Informing IT management of any potential issues or risks associated with the Insight or global infrastructure on a regular basis.
