>JOB OVERVIEW        
>The Business Analyst – Business Process Improvement will be performing business process improvement initiatives and enterprise architecture. They will be responsible for analysis and solution definition for Information Technology Projects. They will work closely with IT management and the client community to identify business/process requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The majority of Projects will be COTS software package implementation and integration with other systems. Therefore, an excellent, demonstrable understanding of the process of specifying, identifying and implementing COTS software is required

>·         Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of client's organization.
>·         Identify client organization&#39;s strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement according to functionality of applications.
>·         Prepare requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations.
>·         Evaluate user requirements and propose optimal solutions {Le. "buy or build"}.
>·         Determines the effects of changes in business process on existing applications
>·         Develops test conditions and accurate and complete test plans.
>·         Conducts testing according to plan.
>·         Will work closely with IT management and the clients to identify and specify business requirements and processes in diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server), software, hardware, technologies and tools.
>·         Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.

Listedbelow are next week's upcoming networking events. All meetings are open to thepublic, plus you are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend. Try attendingat least one or two meetings a week, what you learn there will definitely helpshorten your time in transition. Also, many of these groups convene in theevening, so it will not take time away from your daily job search activities.

Thinkof these meetings as opportunities, sort of like going to school, to learnsomething that can reduce your time in transition by gaining knowledge in jobsearch and interviewing skills needed to excel and standout from yourcompetition.

Intraveling to these meetings, consider car pooling. Not only will it reduce thecost of driving there, but the friendly conversation will make the ride seem togo much faster.

A major Rating Agency located in New York City is looking for the Head Of Securities
Conflict Monitoring.  The ideal candidate would have managed a diverse team of compliance
professionals and must have the ability to build a team and leverage the skills of each of the
members of the team.
Responsibilities:
Must be familiar with running a senior trading function and other areas of the code of
conduct, outside business activities, gifts entertainment.
Must have the ability to track multiple exception reports and identify potential conflicts of
interest.
Must have the ability to move from one assignment to another and/or manage multiple
assignments simultaneously.
Candidate needs to approach the conflict review with the perspective of risk/reward and have
a risk based approach to conflict identification.
Experience:
Candidate must have 10+ years of direct compliance experience.  The position will report to
The Chief Compliance Officer.
An attorney with experience in the Financial Services is preferred but not required.
Salary:
The salary range is 175k to 225k plus a bonus and is based on experience.
