JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Logistics/Distribution Program Management will lead a team of four program managers in the development and implementation of the Logistics and Operations vision, strategic plans, and priorities.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead strategy deployment process for North America Logistics and Distribution functions
* Represent Logistics and DC Operations in managing the strategic aspects of large, complex, cross-functional projects
* Develop and maintain capacity modeling for North America Logistics and DC network
* Recommend network expansion/consolidation based on 3-year future forecast of shipping volume
* Engage with global and supply chain counterparts to drive leading supply chain practices
* Oversee Logistics/Distribution script writing, testing, and validation components of semi-annual IT system update program
* Lead team of four program managers in executing plans
* Oversee data management/reporting team to deliver information to Logistics/DC teams that support improved decision making 
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's or advanced degree in supply chain discipline or related experience
* 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain program management, transition management, and lean methodologies
* End-to-end knowledge of supply chain operations and systems
* Understand implications of different operational choices, and guide team to best solutions for organization
* Effectively communicate relevant information at all levels of the organization
* Team leadership and coaching skills
* Ability to travel up to 10% of the year
* Has created an innovative vision and global sourcing strategy for domestic and international fulfillment and logistics
* Has designed the strategy and execution roadmap and global organizational design
* Has provided design and vision for technology infrastructure investment, providing financial savings in both distribution and logistics
* Experience with freight management and contract logistics
* Direct responsibility for modeling a complex supply chain that will experience a 50% growth in fulfillment and overall logistics in the next 5-7 years.

Description

Our client is seeking a Post-Sales Support Analyst who will assist the
Sales and Account Management staff in gathering, defining, verifying, and
documenting information, business and technical requirements, and
specifications from customers for the implementation of new accounts and
enhancement of existing proprietary products and offerings. The individual
will serve as the liaison between technical and non-technical departments
and will work collaboratively to ensure that project goals are accomplished
and in line with business objectives. The Requirements Analyst may play a
key role in the training of customer personnel.

This is fulltime employee position based in New Haven, CT and requires 50%

Job Requirements

* 3+ years minimum professional experience in requirements analysis.
