My direct client has an immediate need for a Senior Manager - Global CRM Technology.

Location: Eastern PA (successful candidate can pick between Berwyn office in greater Phiilly area and Middleton office in greater Harrisburg PA)

Seniority: Senior.  This is a senior strategic management role and the third highest position in the companies Digital Marketing Department.  

Since this is a 10+ billion dollar company, this role is comparable to a director level role at a smaller company.

Start Date: Immediate (two week notice okay)

Process: Phone screen, onsite pannel interview, decision 

Position Overview:

This IT management position is responsible for overall IT leadership, vision, planning and execution of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy using Salesforce.com.

This is a unique opportunity for a person wanting to lead a dynamic global team to take our CRM to the next level by leading new implementations and delivering even more value from existing implementations.

As part of the Digital Sales & Marketing team you will be responsible for all IT aspects of our global Salesforce.com implementations including process definition, development, administration, interfaces, bolt-ons and global deployment. Salesforce.com is used by Marketing, Sales and Service functions in all business units globally with nearly 4,000 users.

You must be a proven leader who can drive initiatives across different business units and geographies. We are particularly interested in individuals with a strong understanding of CRM business processes and large scale Salesforce.com implementation experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Technology leader responsible for thought leadership, program management and development of CRM solutions supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and eBusiness functions including marketing automation, lead management, sales effectiveness, and customer intelligence programs.
- Partner with sales and marketing leadership to understand their needs and priorities, and communicate on a tactical and strategic level. Anticipate business needs and provide proactive support to meet business needs. Bring new ideas and innovations to create bigger business impact. Develop strategies to be ahead of the curve in technology and business solutions. 
-Serve as SME for CRM and Salesforce.com. Maintain and communicate strategic CRM roadmap that maximizes the value of our technology investments. Provide the technology vision and leadership to teams and ensure overall strategic vision, mission, and culture.
- Implement and support systems and processes including but not limited to web lead generation, email marketing, campaign management, lead management, opportunity tracking, pipeline management, marketing automation, case management, partner portals, and knowledgebase. Implement programs to ensure adoption and measure business value.
- Lead all functional and technical aspects of new implementations and improvement projects – accountable for all activities of SDLC, functional configuration, design, development and implementation deliverables. Integrate CRM to other systems from a technical and process perspective.
- Mentor and build a results oriented team. Manage global team including defining work schedules, duties and objectives and be responsible for the team's career development and appraisals.
- Plan and monitor CRM budget. Accountable for financial results.

Competencies & Experience:

Required
- At least 7 years experience in an IT and/or Sales/Marketing leadership role defining strategy for and implementing enterprise-wide CRM solutions.

- At least 3 years hands-on experience with CRM solutions – preferably Salesforce.com sales and service cloud experience.

- Self-directed leader with a blend of technology / business expertise and a proven track record of developing an organization and achieving results through others.

- Experience leading a team of project managers, business analysts and developers managing multiple projects with diverse requirements and competing priorities.

- Has a strong ability to influence others outside their direct area of control and is seen as a team player. Ability to interact effectively with business executives.

- Strong oral/written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

- Must be willing to occasionally travel globally and alter daily work schedule to meet with global community.

Preferred

- Experience implementing Salesforce.com in large-scale, global environment.

- External website experience including content management systems, search, eCommerce and related technologies.

- System development experience including on-premise and SaaS software packages, custom development and systems integration.

- Manufacturing and/or engineering industry experience.

Educational Required/Desired:

Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, OR other equivalent work experiences. Masters degree ideal.

Additional Skills:
- Leadership position, leading a large group of people and thought leadership position.
-Not a hands on position. 
-They will have around 15 direct reports.
-Also 20 off-shore resources as well.
-Eloqua or other automation are a plus.

**Looking for someone who has IT Management experience, someone in the IT world.

-Lot of leadership on the execution side and then also the thought leader as well. 7 different organizations and 4500 people (4500 SF users).
