Vice President, Sales Support (Pre-Sales).
Financial services/solutions industry.
New York, NY.
 
Our client is a leading provider of investor communications and technology-driven solutions to banks, broker-dealers, mutual funds, and corporations globally. This position is with the companys Investment Management Solutions business, providing next- generation investment management solutions to the buy side industry, including hedge funds, asset management firms, and fund administrators.
 
Responsibilities:
        Work with potential and existing customers in a pre-sales capacity.
        Provide comprehensive understanding of buy-side applications through product demonstrations, technical explanations and documentation.
        Establish domain expertise and credibility with customers on buy-side best practices.
        Assist the Sales Team in the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Information (RFI).
        Prepare Business Analysis Discovery documentation and presentation material to prospects to highlight the value add proposition of the software.
        Prepare Business Analysis Discovery documentation and presentation material to product management teams for missing functional GAPS.
        Communicate customer/prospect activities with the assigned Sales Representative
        Deliver Proof of Concept (POC) tailored to meet customer's functional and technical requirements.
        Server as an internal expert on product functionality and technology supporting the Sales and Technical Sales Team in a Pre-Sales Capacity.
 
 Qualifications Required:
·         Bachelors degree
·         Excellent oral and written communications, presentation, prospecting and organizational skills
·         Ability to initiate relationships with key decision-makers
·         Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
·         Knowledge of Front-Office, Reference Data, and Back-Office Technology
·         Team player
·         Ability to travel
