BridgeView IT is seeking a Business Architect for a Permanent role with one of our top clients.  This role is located in downtown NYC.  Our client is looking for a strong Business Architect with expertise specific to the Asset Management space.  Candidates should be familiar with Business Architecture concepts and practices, have helped organizations develop a business architecture (such as a capability model), and have extremely strong knowledge of the investment management business – specifically the Asset Management and Private Wealth Management space.Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for enhancing product offerings via strong domain knowledge of the Asset Management business ("pre-trade" part of the business) and managing investments & systems used to manage investments.
- Work directly with technical and business architects, as well as the business units
- Conceptualize and formulate appropriate solutions to business problems.
- Design prototyping: creating and rapidly iterating through a series of prototypes and usability sessions to solicit further feedback.
- Employs appropriate methods for gathering data and tools for modeling the proposed solution.
- Conducts requirement sessions with the technical and business teams and participates in the review of system design documents.
- Tracks and reports on deliverables and milestones
- Deep knowledge of Asset Management Industry and Products. 
- Prior experience working in a pressured (dynamic, fast-paced) environment.
- Strong negotiation, decision making, problem solving, influencing skills.
- Strong management reporting skills.
- Strong analytical skills, leadership skills, writing skills, to include solid experience in writing requirements.
